This piece was never on my radar until my wife saw it and we were blown away by that gorgeous z dial that just glows magnificently my wife never wanted a Rolex because she said they all look the same when she gazed at this one she said that's the one for me....
It’s funny, because a lot of people I know went for a Milgauss because they wanted something that doesn’t look like Rolex immediately.
This watch has the beautiful dial👍
good to see you wear that watch! I am hoping to get mine soon... playing the waiting game, just glad they did not discontinue or change it.
Hopefully you’ll get it soon!! Is the blue one your favourite?
Of course they don't know, and I told them I will take whatever they get, as I like both equally - since I am so on the fence it will be a surprise and I will be happy either way. Have a black dial Explorer, had a sunburst blue Turn-O-Graph that was hard to read in many light conditions... but then again, it did not have GV crystal and large, lumed hour markers. Yours is a beauty!
@@edwinthompson159 thank you! Rolex being the usual Rolex haha! Turn-o-graph that’s a watch you don’t hear about too often.
@@TheWatchCEO The Turn-O-Graph was so unique and practical that I ended up tracking down an original 1953/54 as well, grandaddy to Submariner -- I had it brought it up to a high standard and then couldn't pass up an offer a man made me for it.. I like the off beat Rolex models... hence wanting a Milgauss.
@@edwinthompson159 it’s so good to see a person, who doesn’t follow the mainstream in terms of watches! I do hope you’ll get the Milgauss eventually and you’ll enjoy it for a long time.
Awesome analysis
Thank you for watching!
Maybe they will make it less thick (by removing the cage) and add their newest 32xx movement 🤔
I think the cage has to stay, unless they developed something else that is going to provide same if not better resistance to magnetic fields.
It will definitely add new movement and probably change a dial. But, I’d like to see the watch being less chunky, that’s for certain.
@@TheWatchCEO check the omega aqua terra watches though. They protect against 15000+ Gauss and they don't have a cage. They use a silicon hairspring and anti magnetic escapement wheel. Rolex could certainly do something similar I believe. (Which they actually already doing on some degree with their 32xx series movements with their parachrom blue hairspring.)
Yeah it will be interesting to bring back the rotating bezel like the old 6541 milgaus 😛
@@apothecy4011 I’ve always been wondering why Rolex haven’t upgraded the Milgauss range for such a long time. Rotating bezel would be interesting indeed!
@@TheWatchCEO well every year they were updating a different line. First the GMT, then the Subs, then the explorer/daytona/datejust . The yacht master /milgauss / air king are the next in line I suppose.
looks a bit big on yourwrist
Looks good on his wrist- heavy duty!
Pictures and videos always make a watch look bigger, it is not that big I just recently purchased this watch and I have a 7.5 inch wrist and I would not go any smaller than this watch, and not much bigger.
