Very thorough! Got one off the showroom and it was without the manual; this helped tons!
I'm glad this helped! Happy Grilling!!
Freakin awesome guidance Bro, had no idea what to do ! Thank you 😊 ....
I watched this video three weeks before getting the 22
Had to watch step by step once I got it assembled today... way simple, but more clear instructions than anyone anyone else...cheers
I'm glad this helped! Happy grilling!
Thanks man your video helped a lot I just bought the 34 and it’s amazing
Awesome!
Looks easy enough to assemble! My traeger just arrived and I’m ready to assemble except it’s supposed to rain starting today and going through Monday! Today is Friday
Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. Best of luck! You're gonna love it.
Just picked the same one up can’t wait to try it great instructions
Thanks, I've loved mine
Picking my first one tomorrow ☺️ great informative video I'll be watching you more thanks by the way I use to work at Tesla Fremont ca built them great experience 3yrs total.
Very cool!! Good luck!
Just picked up one today. Thanks for this video.
Nice!
I use foil on the drip tray for easy clean up.
Yeah that's a good tip!
I use a foil drip pan only
@cq230 going to try the pan.
Thanks for the help mate! Just set up my pro22 now!!
Very nice!!
Thank you for the very informative information. I read the instructions and followed your video for the Seasoning of the Grill. I’m Subscribed to your CZcams and looking forward to what We Cook !
Awesome! Thank you

Awesome! You'll love it!!
This was very helpful. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Really good video man, thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I’m debating whether I should get the 22 or 34.
Yeah I debated as well, I went with the one I could get the best deal on, good luck!
I just bought one. Comin on Tuesday
Nice, you'll love it
Thanks for the tips! I just bought mine today. Btw, those mountains look like Utah!
Yes it's Utah, where it seems everyone has a Traeger!!
Thank you! This was the best video I found to help walk through this. So excited about my new 22!
Nice!
Thanks for the video. So after I seasoned it, to start it I put it in smoke and once it starts smoking set it to the temperature I desire?
Exactly!
Take your time in turning up the temp, as the auger will feed the hopper faster then the pellets will burn
Good tip!
Doing my first burn. What do you recommend? Getting it ready for Christmas Eve.
Bro those mountains in the back drop. Wow. Where are you?!?
I'm near Salt Lake City UT. Yeah those mountains are nice! Thanks for watching!
Nice video.
What comes included in the box?
And what did you have to buy separately?
I had to buy the pellets, and the tray and bucket liners separately
@@Myksgarage you got those on Amazon also ?
Wow, seems like a pain in the ass just to start it up. Was considering one of these but I think I'll stick to good ol' charcoal after watching this.
It's totally worth it!!
Jorge, this is only for the first time start-up. After that it’s as simple as flipping a switch.
Hi,
I just put together my Traeger last night and my bottom grate moves a lot left and right… is that normal for this grill?
Seems like mine does that as well
I read a review that it doesn't keep accurate temperature. What are your thoughts?
It stays close to the set temperature, it's been just fine for my needs
Is there any pellets that don't have a taste of them, I know weird, but my husband doesn't like smoked food so I'd like the option to add myself. Or what is the least strong wood thanks
I use the the traeger signature blend or off brand equivalent, and doesn't have much taste to it. amzn.to/3Qz47nA
@@Myksgarage thank you
Can I put a foil drip pan on the heat baffle without using the heat shield?
I'm sure you could, report back on how it goes
Alright I’ll
Let you know it’s just a burger for myself lol
Do you think it can be used as a tabletop without the legs
Yeah it would work fine
Do you have to use a GFCI outlet?
It will work on any outlet
What temperature is the "SMOKE SETTING?"
I think it's like 145
After I season it do I hit shutdown mode?
Yes
Still does mot show drip pan which side is left pr right?!!?
I don't think so
I just got the same model and the startup directions were completely different
Interesting
I think i heard the outro music already, what is it from?
It's just from CZcams audio library
Does this have the Wi-Fi system?
This one does not.
sieve the pellets to get rid of the wood dust.
Could you elaborate on that?
Use a colander to shake out the dust of the pellets drying out before you put them in the hopper.
Driving me nuts haha, your bracket under the smoker on the legs is backwards....
Yeah, I know, I didn't notice it for a couple months and I have now switched it
@@Myksgarage It happens! Great video.
I only received 1 probe? I see you received 2??
Yeah mine came with 2
@@Myksgarage that's BS Treager!
@@Myksgarage Did it show 2 probes in the manual? Mines shows 1..
sure you got the pro 22? Costco sells a model 22 but it is not the pro version and it only comes with one probe
@kerrykroberts7809 Nope, probe was missing 😢 Treager shipped me the missing probe. Apparently I'm not the only person with the same issue.
The only negative I see is you can not do a beer can chicken.
I might try taking out the grate, and putting the chicken on the drip pan.
Yeah good point
I use a chicken hook from Amazon to cook a whole chicken
I do them all the time no problems. Excess liquid goes to the grease trap
Seems like too many steps just to get going
It's not bad, now that I know what I'm doing
