1985 Air Jordan 1 Alternate Chicago Red Suede Custom!
In today's episode of Customs with Vick, we bring you a unique custom Jordan 1. Vick begins the process by prepping the leather using acetone and cotton balls to allow the new paint to stick properly to the shoe. He then needs to reshape the toe box due to it being a bit boxy. He does this by using a wet cloth and an iron. Such a cool trick that makes a world of a difference. Next, Vick moves on to repainting the suede red and the toe box black. How often do you have to spray water repellant on the suede after it is dyed? Is that like a every time you wear them deal or just after the initial dye?

You can reapply every 2-6 weeks depending on how often the shoes are worn.
