I often go to the thrift store to get bags, denim jackets, and shoes to paint and create content for my Instagram. This allows me, as you say, to create an online portfolio on a budget.

started customizing not too long ago, and ive only solf a couple of pairs, but i tried these tips and i am getting more clients!
Love the content. Trying my hand at the craft recently. My real 1st attempt to customize sneakers was a Nike Air Foamposite Pro last month. Did it with Michaels paint and paint brushes. It was a disaster! I could really use tips on how to ensure my next attempt won't suck as bad.

I’ve sold a pair of custom vans with $.50 cents paint from Walmart, and the quality was pretty good tbh.. thought to myself I should do this as a hobby, so I’ve been watching a decent amount of videos. Yours came in clutch the most.

Always been an artistic and creative individual also obsessed with entrepreneurship especially in selling things. Got into reselling sneakers last year. Took a break and recently got back into it but got the idea to customize at a sneaker event I went to. Been researching ever since. This video gives so much insight on not only materials, but how to create content (with examples), how to build a portfolio, and even how to get some of your first pair of shoes.
