I’m curious with how you were able to lasso different sections cleanly, was that from screenshots with different colors from 3d application
I used render pass called MaterialID/matID then selected specific objects in the render using color range in selection.
what brush you use for cloud? is look so cool

Good video my friend, one question tho why concept artists use 3d coat when blender seems to have similar functionalities?
You're right similar or even exact results can be achieved in blender too but I feel like 3d Coat has some features like the stencil one and huge variety of brushes and customizations you can do according to your needs and that is how it has the upper hand as far as modeling and sculpting is considered.

Make the light source small and use Schlick node connected to phase in volume medium

A 3070 pc build
How's octane in blender in comparison with cycles? how are the render times comparitively?
Faster both in render and preview
