thanks so much! i appreciate the runown. I bought a ryobi weed wacker, and this came with it. I'm getting ready to use it for the first time on the small hedges around my house, and your video helped me see how it works. All the best!

Please take the battery out before changing tools!
I second that
ALWAYS
Absolutely. Great tip
Bonehead move.
First thing I thought of when he had his finger on the trigger with a battery installed when changing the blade.
Hi! Can a longer blade be purchased?? The one that comes with it seem a bit short.
not that I know of, this is a mini version of their bigger one (which is 22") this comes with a small blade, meant for grass trimming and the one that I'm using for touch ups and small jobs. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Thank you@@Thesimplehomeowner

I have one of these. Had it for about 2 years now. I use it for trimming my 3x4x20 foot flowering hedge. It works pretty good. I also use it on other tree limbs, brush and plants around the yard. It’s quick and easy to use.
It will trim up to about 1/8 inch branches fine 3/16 it has to naw on them for a while. 1/4 inch and up, it really does not work. It has pretty good power, but the blade does not have enough stroke to make a good clean cut on the branches. I have not really used the grass blade so I have no input.
I like it’s light weight. And I can use the smaller batteries to make it even lighter. I usually use the 2 Ah batteries or the smaller 1.8 Ah.
I have plenty of Ryobi batteries in the 18v range. So I never need to worry about enough pattern power. This is actually pretty easy on batteries.
Have not checked on availability or price of replacement blades.
@@americanrambler4972 I agree, pretty good for what it is. Thanks for watching!
