- A wallowed out 5/16 tapped hole inside the handle mounting boss made me think of an alternate fix to get my dear friend Nellie back up and mowing in 2 hours time. Enjoy! Thanks to my good friend Tom of CZcams channel “Vintage Engine Repair” for convincing me to anneal a hardened bushing. Thanks Mate! A full video on the creation of this screw is coming up!

She called me when she got home just a few minutes ago and asked when I could come by to look at it and I said oh you didn’t look at it? It’s already fixed. She was thrilled.!
Good fix Kenny. Also Good Man for not charging Nellie. I do favours like this for friends and neighbours all the time. It’s not always about the money and most people don’t forget and will repay you in their own way someday.

Yes. Mostly gone for a week or two. But I would say in some places here in the wooded areas where the sun doesn’t hit, there could be some there yet.
