Did anyone watch Mary Berry making a (traditional) Irish stew on her tour of Ireland. She put curry powder and mango chutney in it. I was enraged, and switched her off. People need to stop endorsing these traitor celebrities.

That's good to hear. I've personally noticed the change myself, from when I lived and worked in Ireland (and travelled up "the north") back in the 90s and early 2000s and comparing it to now. I'm a regular visitor to Ireland (both north and south) and the only animosity and crap I received was back in the 90s, and even that was a couple of instances in a pub. Nowadays I can even plod around the Falls and Ardoyne and feel ok and have craic. Even some of the more nationalist minded folks have been ok with me. Pretty sure that wouldn't have been the case up north back in the 90s.
