For whatever reason (I have my own guesses) the UK just can't resist the temptation of Russian money. It's been this way forever. The London banks, real estate establishments (high end), LME and all the rest, fall over each other for the Russian patronage, and all the while, the government looks the other way. It's nothing short of shameful.

Also if the UK is going to be moral then they should pay 100% of their own military protection. The U.S. should pay zero to nato in Europe. Let them pay their own fair share.
If we’re talking about being moral let’s expose nato. There’s no reason the average American subsidizes Europe and then Europe that doesn’t pay much for military then can afford free college and free health care. The next generation of Americans are calling BS and wants free college too just like Europe.
Let Europe fund and run nato. The U.S. needs to keep troops in the U.S. and defend our own freaking border that’s let in over 9 million illegals the past few years.

Well allegedly they are making a billion per day front oil alone.
That's 365. Billion alone, pretty almost half of that goes straight to the state. The US Federal budget was recently a bit over 1 trillion.
So the Russian state which has a much smaller population seems to be intaking maybe 50-100billion annually from oil alone. (10% the recent US budget, with half the population so maybe 20% of Russian budget).
The other 80% of the budget, which would make it on par with the US spending, would need to be accumulated from other taxable thing or state owned exports.
Thing is. Russia doesn't spend as much as the US. So that 50-100billion they get might be 40-50% their budget.
I see now online Russian annular budget 2022 370billion usd. The US spent over a trillion usd in 2024.
So Russia is spending a 3rd or less of what US does and 15-30% of it comes from just oil.
So Russia only needs to "tax" 250-300 billion to remain DEBT neutral from the central bank, operating a budget that doesn't inflate more rapidly than exports.
      They call that a deficit.
Sooo do we think Russia can keep exporting 350billion in all exports every year?
If the US can run a deficit for 50+ years would it stand to reason that Russia can run a deficit for a while as well?
US fought like 8 wars now while on a budget deficit 😂

Great vid. One issue that needs to be addressed are the western politicians that have, well actually anyone, that has portfolios, investments in russian oil and are part of the problem in preventing the use of russian oil because they have these investments and fight against effective sanctions that damage their income from these investments.
Remove this issue and sanctions will begin to work better. Do not be afraid to deal with everyone that is involved investment wise in russian oil. These investors are very afraid of losing their money.

    • @rambleon2838

The problem lies in that Russian energy companies have been gobbling up large shares of western owned energy companies and therefore have been influencing domestic politics. Take a look at Gazprom, Lukoil and Rosneft's portfolio to see the real magnitude of collusion. You're right, politicians like to have their investments in sectors they can easily manipulate with policy making which does create that conflict of interest. Politicians should be barred from investing and stock trading. The same is true for the steel, petro-chemical and agricultural sector.

confiscating foreign reserves as a form of sanction, is the clear signal to all other countries in de BRICS and global south to de-dollari-ze and conduct trade outside of the dollar. These countries are already doing that and BRICS has put in place all instruments to facilitate trading outside the dollar. These countries are 85% of global population and hold 90% of all energy, raw materials and minerals.
The old west (US, EU, AUS) is standing alone and has isolated itself. Browder is an exponent of the short-sighted policies leading to the west's demise, de-industrialisation and self-destruction.
