Are you sure about that? ... ...
Turkey is destined to become a Superpower by 2040. By 2050, both Turkey & Japan are expected to join Naval Forces to kick the USA out of the seas of the world and will (together) control the entire World seas. This puts Turkey in a very unique position that no other country has ever been in before. Having control of Eurasia and having control of The Worlds Seas both at the same time. All you need to be a world power is to have one or the other. Now, for the first time in history, a country (Turkey) will have both at once, together! What does this mean?
It means Turkey will pass even the Ottoman Empire in terms of its land size (based on areas of influence). It means, according to the geopolitical experts, that the entire Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Aegean Sea will be 100% Turkish Coastlines. Also, the majority of the Caspian Sea, Red Sea & Strait of Hormuz will become Turkish Coastlines as well.
I can point you to numerous non-Turkish, non-Muslim sources. In fact, I only use Western (American, Israeli, UK etc) sources for these claims as they are our harshest critics & the rest are subject to bias.
According to Standard Chartered, by 2030 Turkey is going to become the 5th greatest economy in the world in terms of the Purchasing Power of GDP, GDP PPP (& 7th in terms of Nominal GDP according to other sources). There Is Not A Single Western Or European Country in the Top 9 by 2030:
Chose your own western source from this google search: www.google.com/search?q=standard+chartered+2030+turkey
Or, here is an English-language source: www.dailysabah.com/economy/2019/01/09/turkey-to-become-5th-largest-economy-in-the-world-by-2030-standard-chartered-predicts
George Friedman, a Jewish-American Geopolitical Expert who is the owner of Geopolitical Futures & has advised 3 US Presidents has written a book titled "The Next 100 Years" where he outlines the above. Free PDF: www.mysearch.org.uk/website1/pdf/715.2.pdf
Or, a great 30 minute video instead: Dr. George Friedman's speech talking about Turkey's Superpower Future: czcams.com/video/Xpqn_cR4aWI/video.html
More? Israeli Professor David Passig, his book titled "2048" uses the most accurate, reliable data points across a variety of disciplines to make predictions about the future. This is the most extensive, data-driven book on predicting the power structures of the world. Here is a brief review of the book: forward.com/articles/129084/predicting-the-future-is-all-in-a-day-s-work/
Perhaps a relevant excerpt from the review:
"He predicts that the first conflict during that time [early 2020's] will involve America joining with Turkey to prevent Russia from seeking to regain power in Eastern Europe. Then, in the mid-21st century, he said, Turkey, buoyed by success against Russia, will “start stretching their geopolitical power in the Middle East,” and Egypt, Lebanon and Syria will essentially become satellites of Turkey. Ultimately, he said, Turkey will succeed in bringing peace to the region."
Or, check out this 9 minute clip of him talking about the above (Turkey's future) on CNNTurk (in English & Turkish): czcams.com/video/qfnJnY_87o4/video.html
Finally, Post Crisis World prepared a World in 2050 Report by consulting the greatest Think Tanks & most well-regarded Strategic Experts around the world (including geopolitical, international relations, economic & geostrategic experts) They asked a variety of questions, one of them being: "Which country is most likely to become a Superpower by 2050?"
Of course, not only was Turkey #1 in this valuable survey, it also beat the country in position #2 by a significant margin. This report also reveals that the countries which will decline the fastest & by the greatest margin are the Western European countries (USA included) by 2050. In fact, these countries exclusively occupy the top 10 in this regard.
The Turkey related section is between pages 73-74, as a PDF, in the Post Crisis World Report below. Graph & comments by some of the experts are on page 74: eng.postcrisisworld.org/files/vision_2050.pdf
Now, on to other sources, such as the US Think Tanks, whose entire purpose and point of existence is to figure out the future, as accurately as possible, in order to steer policy in line with US interests as successfully as possible. And you guessed it, in every single US think tank prediction I have read, Turkey is placed between positions 1-3 by 2050. Most of them placing Turkey in position number 2. Look into RAND Corporation's (a US think tank) predictions for Turkey. Also, look into Stratfor's predictions for Turkey.
How is this possible? It's only possible because Turkey will increase its land size (based on areas of influence, not conquest). If it were to not increase its land size, it would only make it to position 11 by 2050. Consequently, France & even Spain will become Turkish areas of influence (like what France did to ex-Ottoman land Syria 100 years ago). In fact, even Israel, sometime after 2050, will become a Turkish area of influence. Before this happens, Coastal Russia, Ukraine, Balkans, North & East Africa, Middle East, Caucasus & Central Asia, all under Turkish control.
A quick side-note: During The Great Turkish Rise, Turkey is expected to get peace between Palestine and Israel. Something deemed an impossibility for the last 70 years which has become less and less likely as each year went by. How? Turkey is going to have the POWER and the WILL to do it. Currently, the US has the power, but certainly not the will.
This isn't going to be based on war & conquest. It's mostly going to be based on economic & cultural cooperation. In fact, these states are going to WANT TO join Turkey because it's going to be in their economic, social & national interest to do so. The Ottoman Empire lasted 600 years, the Turkish Empire will last at least 1,000 years according to our best guesses. It's not a fast-burning empire model like that of the US & UK. It's positioning itself for a very long rule, and you can gauge this from its current actions.
Now you should also understand why the West has been attacking Turkey all these years, especially Erdogan. Because under Erdogan this transition of Turkey into a Superpower has accelerated. Turkey has foiled every single attack that the West has launched against it. These include the German/English sponsored Gezi Park/Taksim Square protests, driving 50% of the Turkish population out onto the streets to overthrow Erdogan & to hurt the Turkish Economy. The day before Gezi, interest rates were at 4.61% - the lowest rate Turkey had ever seen in the last 200 years. After Gezi, it shot up to 12%, putting a hard break on the Turkish economy. This was the foreign provocateurs' second aim & it succeeded.
There was also the 2016 US-backed coup attempt against Turkey & assassination attempt against Erdogan (both failed). Now, the US-based economic & currency war (starting in August 2018 & continuing to this day), which has also failed and will likely backfire. But even if it were to succeed, it still cannot stop Turkey from becoming a Superpower.
Finally, only under the control of the Ottoman Empire was there peace in the region. Since the Ottoman Empire fell, the entire region has been devastated by bloodshed and suffering. Now, the rise of Turkey will bring peace and stability to these regions again for the next 1,000 (+/- 200) years, according to estimates.

Political and any other problems should be seperated from what you describe as "hospitality" in my opinion and I hope you get my point here. I'm not saying we are the best as we are not and I'm also getting annoyed when they want to move here and live here et cetera but that still doesn't mean you can bad-mouth.

    • @user-zs4hs8nk2b
      @user-zs4hs8nk2b Před 2 lety +4

@General Khan dude, I can understand your point here. And yeah I'm sure you're not trying to be as racist as you sound under the comments. Let's be honest, do they really teach us the real things happened between coutries exactly ?
The answer is no. Why would people want to badmouth their own country? Nobody would. You are Greek or not, I appreciate you and I still don't understand the exact reason of existence of these haters.
I live in Turkey I have never heard a Turkish person say anything negative about Greece to me. Ever. It seems to be something that we very rarely think or care about. We shoot the gun back if they bad-mouth, because we take care of our country. And let's be real, we have many reasons to hate you when we were only 5 countries (mostly Muslim ones) when this "Greek war of independence" happened. While many countries took their back in the end it's led to the current modern Greece things. We have similar things with Greece even if they don't believe it. I don't know why in Greece they keep pulling stuff out of their a$$es and parents keep making their children hate Turkey out of nowhere. One of my friends fell in love with a Turkish boy and got disowned by her GREEK parents just because she fell in love with a HUMAN being.
We have many stuff happened in the past and these are just examples. You can't judge people because of their ancestors and that's just racism and showing your anger through their religion which is pathetic because even if most people think so, Turkey is NOT exactly as Islamic as it used to be. We, Z generation is well aware of education and our history and we love making researches about it not to get something wrong. Yes we have the parts can be called "racist" but we've never poked our noses into other people's lives nor their religious. Everyone had a freedom in Ottoman Empire and of course you had to fight in order to have independence but you had to do that not in Ottoman Empire, but in different Empires of you was to be in different one.
Any of people would want to bad-mouth their countries and they may change the way of history in order to avoid that. You can hear many times 'We did not want to get into fights but they pushed us into them' a lot and even if you don't want to believe I don't think it's not any different in Greece, US, Italy or any other countries.
we should be aware of this and let the past go because we are all seperated countries right now and there is no something called "Empire".
We are in 21th century, still having arguments with Armenians as they think we murdered some of their citizens in the past for "fun" and we've been told that Armenians burnt many towns, kidnapped children and even had surgeries and other stuff on them and killed them slowly that way. Just like Hitler.
So yeah dude, we are same old by the way, I hope I've enlighten you by any way.

Why is it that there is a need that the male pay money to women for marriage while in modern times both women and men work, earn money? There are tons of couples in the world where both women and men work and there is no bridal money paid and they are just fine. And you have also said that "women can spend husbands money but not vice versa" why? Why is there such a rule? Why is it not that both male and female sides earn money by working, either both sides can use each others' money or no side? Why is it that there always has to be unequally regarding genders when it comes to marriage(particularly when both women and men work and get equal or near equal pay). The idea that I have to pay a lot of money to my girlfriend just to get married("somehow to protect her") is insane and needless.

I can see the merit behind the man enduring the salted cup of coffee as a symbolic representation of him choosing to take on the hardships that come with marriage and inviting a wife into his life. However from this first impression the fact that the salted cup of coffee is supposed to be some sort of undeclared promise that the man is willing to endure anything that comes from the bride can serve as a bad precedent upon which to build a marriage.
It literally has the woman intentionally preparing something that is displeasing for her future husband and expecting him to accept it with a smile on his face. It signals to the bride that she is absolved of any responsibility from her own actions and in many ways is free to act however she pleases regardless of the effect it has on the groom because he is bound to bare it. Any such hardships in marriage should come from unexpected circumstances and without intentions of creating hardship (from both sides). While a woman may be excused to some degree due to her emotionality I feel that this type of tradition tends to do more harm than good.
Now I really hope that last part about stepping on each others feet is not as commonly practiced anymore... because that is just planely going to open the door to a dysfunctional marriage

Good grief. You're overthinking it. It's JUST a fun custom/tradition. One of the reasons why many marriages fail today is because both husband and wife have a lack of patience and don't know how to pick and choose their battles. You have to pick and choose your battles in every relationship. Sometimes you have to let some things slide. Not ever single thing should be be turned into a battle of words or a verbal sparring. It's called giving your partner some "grace". But to lend so much gravity to a tradition and to treat it as a precursor to how that marriage will go ....is a little.,,."much"....in my opinion. I highly doubt that this tradition leads Turkish women to deliberately prepare salty dishes for their husbands and incur other forms of abuse toward their spouse with the notion that he should tolerate it without protest. Sound minded adults are aware that marriage doesn't work like that. In the Indian culture, there is a tradition of hiding a ring or something in a platter of milk and the first to find the ring will be the "boss" int the marriage. So, if the bride finds it first, it implies that she will be the boss. But guess what? Despite this tradition, countries like India and Pakistan have a patriarchal culture where it's usually the husband and his family that are in charge and many of the cultural beliefs and expectations generally place the women at a disadvantage. And that lil' 2-5 minute wedding tradition of finding the missing piece of whatever in a platter of milk has not been able to eradicate unjust cultural issues even if the bride does end up wining in that tradition/game. So, let the turks enjoy their traditions without being a Negative Nancy about it.

@@shimaaadel1739 First of all i dont have a releigion secondly i know some staff about releigion and i came to the conclusion that there is no such proof us your "lord" except some books such us bible and quaran which is definitely certain that are written by a human hand. Why not marry her? well how can you be so sure that you will leave in harmony together if you are not allowed to live together, because as far as i know releigion forbidens to a couple to live together if they are not married so there is another mistake due to the fact that plenty couples lived together only after they got married as a result many of them got divorced, whereas if they were allowed to live together this wouldn't happen. And last but not least no one mention that a purpose of a woman is to provide pleassure to man no one said such thing besides sex is normal thing and is a pleassure for a couple it doesnt mean it should be only for having kids.
