@Adventure of World No I'm not. We broke up a long time ago.
It's because now it's a famous thing and guys are talking here like "Broooo don't say your future plans, she won't show up again if you say something about 2052, remember that, stick to the plan, go step by step" etc. hahah
Actually it's literally a litmus paper. You can ask to him "What do you think about future?" and If he starts to talk at length, or if he's hesitant, he likes you. But if he says he has never thought about it, he is less likely to love you. Life in Turkey is hard so it's normal.

And he didn't block me ... He always has done it to me..one thing i can guess that his cheating on me..i asked him if i could come to turkey with my money my savings he told me don't come... He promised to come for me but he never did... He was from Antakya his family knew the Relationship.. After that i met another guy Turkish also... I would like to share some things. In my personal experience, Turkish men are straightforward people and really friendly. If a Turkish man likes you, he will tell it straight to your face 😂 I admire the confidence and they are like, really sweet when they talk. BUT you have to accept their feelings quickly or they will lose their interest in you. Im a Filipina and in my country, courtship is very important (but it also depends on the personality). Some women in the Philippines feel pressured to marry at age 22+. Im 24 and at this age, all I can think of is building myself and getting stable so dating doesnt work for me. I dont really like possesive and really jealous men (jealousy is fine but some are exaggerated) so it becomes my total turn off for Turkish guys. To me, men is a luxury but not a necessity. I can live without men but I value them like precious gems. What I meant by that is that I didnt study for four years to be a housewife. I want to earn my own money to get my man stuffs he might like. But I will make sure my man is one of my top priorities I will take care of him. We may split the bills but I will treat him a simple dessert or something before the day ends. Im that kind of person. The Turkish man I know didnt understand this. The culture is also a huge factor. I respect his culture though Ive never been to his country. But the Turkish man cant get used to the differences regardless of having to live here for few years. All I want is whats best for the relationship. Im not the kind to easily fall for a man and Im serious about priorities so Im not the kind to cheat. But in general, Turkish men are sweet and kind people ❤ Maybe just not for me
True!!!!!!!!
@@trinity4827 you're on point! Also one of the reasons men feel superior is because they are the ones that pays for everything. I cannot afford to live a lifestyle where I am being controlled. Love is a feeling of wanting to be together, missing each other, and the moment you got into a relationship you've already decided to trust the person. Most people dont understand this. Ive met different men and because of my strong personality they feel intimidated. They shouldve known that before dating me and not just disappearing. Im giving my all anyway

I'd watch out a bit. It's a society where family, i.e. the man's parents, have quite an influence on him where you'd think he was old enough to be an independent adult. When your mother in-law disapproves of something you do, you may get no support at all from your husband and even feel pressure from him to conform. They are also so male-dominated it shocks me. Men don't help, they don't clean and only cook when it suits them. I am married to a Turkish wife so I get the easy side of this situation and I can try to make sure my daughter is brought up to expect better things from men but I think it would be much harder if I was a woman. Are all Turkish men like this? Probably not - but Turkish society favors this behaviour more, I think, than I am used to. My mother in law is greatly admired for earning most of the money and "not being a slacker in the home either" which shows you what's expected. First you have to be all the things a woman is supposed to be then you can have a career on top of that maybe.
t43562 Yes, its so annoying. I almost left my husband because of that. Its too much to handle in the begining because they want to treat you like they treat their son. Control, control and supervision. You constantly have to tell them to back off and mind their own business. It can be exhausting.
"Turkish wife" is you're wife a Muslim? If yes when did you convert to Islam? :)
@@mari_000 he doesn't need to convert to Islam to marry a Turkish woman
Same. My Turkish wife's family tries to influence us (circumcision, employment etc) and I've learned I have to be aggressive in asserting my cultural values in a way I haven't needed to (considering we live in a Western country) to ensure I dont get trampled on. They are mad for a month then they get over it.
@Jeremiah Atwood I did. I was baptised Roman Catholic and now I'm probably something that a Muslim would consider to be worse: an Atheist. There are hundreds of millions of Muslims and they're not all the same just like Christians aren't all weirdos with guns or Mormons.
This the cutest of videos ive watch so far.Keep on laughing while watching..Turkish guys are really sweet and so loving. Cause i love him so much. =😍
There are different types of men from different social classes. But being a softie to the girls they trust (mostly to their wives), dote upon their mother or their family, compliments and expressing the feelings openly from the very beginning, being obsessive and protective, being excessively jealous when your dress is a bit sexy is standart for a Turkish man.
I was waiting for this video for months lol
The compliment at the beginning, the way he goes into it and the nature-related choice of words LOL. That was just my Turkish, ship captain ex bf 🤣🤣🤣 Even the way he speaks English 🤣🤣🤣Everything pretty much fits the behavior description too!
Oh! This thing about turning girlfriends into moms...I don't like it in our cultures (I'm Greek). I would like the couple to be equal: whoever gets hungry, cooks! Both should do housework!
I generally agree unless one of the couple doesn't work, then that person should at least do the household chores.
p.s
I like to cook, I'm Turkish. My Romanian ex once told me she loved my cooking but didn't like that I cooked so often because she felt that was a woman's job .... I mean she also told me she wasn't looking for a serious relationship the first day she stayed over then 3 days later told everyone we knew that she was my gf (without EVER bringing the subject up to me). 3 days later she was talking about baby names, marriage, converting to Islam (despite the fact that I made it very clear I'm not religious, nor do I care about such stuff, she was convinced I was secretly Muslim lol).
Oh... and she said she HATED jealousy. Ok, I'm generally not a very jealous dude. But then she got really mad at me multiple times because she felt I wasn't jealous enough. She was also absurdly jealous. A female friend of mine would send me a whatsapp asking how I was doing, and she'd start to hysterically cry and scream at me like she just caught me with my pants around my ankles and a girl wrapped around me.
My point is, there are all kinds of people. Not all Turkish, Greek, Romanian etc men or women are the same. And some women are more fierce in defending traditional male/female roles than the most sexist men.
Thank you, I will use these advice!
Uhhmmmm ... as someone who knows MANY Turkish men I can't say I agree to all this.
But they are a bunch of softies that is true - but you have to earn their trust before they show this side, earning a Turkish man's trust is hard but once earned ... you get see the magical side of a Turkish man. Softies !!!
