    As a graphics developer that uses DirectX 12 and Vulkan, I didnt expect anyone to care! 1.3 removes a fair bit of unnecessary complexity on the programming side, great for devs and will hopefully increase adoption rate for future games :)

    thx for the update.
    I think this is due to the steam deck being linux based and vulkan being cross platform.

    hey elric long time no see i was wondering if you had the idea of creating podcast type of thing where you would get some old dudes who were or are in the tech bussines today to talk about stuff or even get some of your friends and talk about music or the life you have lived up to this point. well its just my opinion that it would be interesting to listen to while im doing something other than watching yt oh and stay healthy oldman ;D

    Vulkan is great and so was Mantle (which was the precursor) which made a huge difference for me back in the BF4 days.

    Broadband Internet is almost ubiquitous everywhere at this point. Only a real issue if you live in a rural area. And bandwidth limits aren't a thing anymore, so you don't have to worry about been overcharged. Barrier to entry for cloud gaming is the lowest its ever been.

    GeForce NOW works surprisingly well for me. I'm in New Zealand connecting to game server in Sydney Australia. My poor 980ti workhorse's fans died and been using GRN while waiting for new fans to come from China. Been playing Valheim at max settings and perfectly playable experience.

    Didn't AMD have radeon anti lag first then nvidia released reflex? Always seems like Nvidia gets the credit when they were second. Can't deny reflex is way better marketing. Well done Nvidia.....

    Cloud gaming still has major issues of latency that for the time being won't go away.

      @jordan6254 Před 2 lety

      Yeah we need way more data centers and fiber optic lines. 60ms input latency completely ruins the experience

    I got a RX 6900XT through New Egg three months ago and did the ZIP payments and paid it off in 2 months. The majority complaining are also non-employed people who wished they had what others do. And instead of making things happen and making money they just sit on their ass and comment on youtube all day.

    sorry but rt at this point is still ass with only 2 games where its worth it in the form of quake 2 and minecraft maybe in 5 years time that will change but till rt matures and more devs optimise for it but until then its a performance destorying gimmick

      RT was really good in Control and Metro Exodus (even in consoles with RT 60 fps).
