it's because clapping pushup is more about explosive and momentum and archer is more about technique, with that being said, he probably thinks that clapping is harder because to a calisthenic guy like him, the technique to do a archer pushup is not that harder since he is a master of balance
A lot of these calisthenics exercises also warry in difficulty based on your height. For example, a simple pushup is much harder for someone who is really tall as the mass distribution is gonna affect your chest more. Similarly, archer pushup is gonna put more weight on one hand if your hands are further apart, aka, if you are taller.
Congratulations and glad you discovered Chris Heria. I discovered him a day after his birthday (my first day of sobriety)..on the 22nd I completed 2 years sober. Again, thanks for sharing and congrats! Peace and Mutual Respect 👊🏽✊🏽
In 3 months, I went from level 1 to level 5, while doing 100 push-ups per day. Was doing nothing before that. I, of course, hurt my wrist and had to wait 2 months before being alright. I still feel it sometimes... Start small if you're a beginner. Don't rush.
For any beginners here, I'd recommend seeing how many you can do in 3-4 sets, trying to ideally not go into high rep numbers such as over 30 but also not extremely low rep numbers, such as under 4. Each set until failure or, more ideally, until your technique starts getting worse. I used to be thin af so I couldn't even do a pushup on my knees in the past, now my first set is about 21 and over 4 sets I do around 60. Hoping to work my way up to 100 in the foreseeable future!
That's very good I don't rlly workout but I am at lvl 7 I think the one at your waistline Edit :btw am 14 and am only 62 kgs at 183 cm so I think it's not rlly strength but just cus am skinny
@@minefranz6895 I was the same buddy, and that explains why you are at lvl 8 if you only whey 52kgs. If you are that tall you should whey around 70-75 kgs and the push ups will become alot harder. Keep up your work but you really should eat around 5-6k calories per day cus thats how i added 20kgs in 14 months.
Love all your music and workout videos!!! Thank you so much Chris! You are my inspiration and motivation to start calisthenics. I follow your instructions and I've seen the progress. Your music style is really great tho. Hope you release new album soon and have your concert tour, wanna see you on stage. Please keep up the great work. The best trainer and artist ever!!!
Is there a way that you can get some of your subscribes to come out there with you and you do like a couple days with them doing some workouts because I know I want to do stuff like you but I just don’t have the motivation to do it but by my self with out like a kick start. Ps best CZcamsr ever
About six months ago I broke both bones in my left arm fully (radius and ulna) and it was the worst possible break there could be. After surgery, and 10 weeks recovery, I started working out again lightly and now I’m properly working out. However my arm still pains a lot and I can’t even do hardly any pushups without my left arm giving way straight away fro example. This happens in other exercises too and idk what to do?
Had the same thing happen to me. I broke my ulna and radius but had a cast for 6 weeks. Wait some more time, don't go for full push ups immediately, do incline or knee push ups until you have no pain. If it persists, go to your doctor.
@@jellyjacky8586 yeah it’s just that the pain and inability to lift weight I need to lift to get bigger makes it seem like I’ll never be able to increase my strength and become bigger and stronger when I’m older as the arm won’t let me
personally, I feel clapping pushup to be easier than archer pushup
ikr... I mean I can do 10 clap push ups but find 1 archer way harder.
it differs from person to person honestly

yeah I'd recommend adding a small routine that focuses on forearms, wrist strength, grip capacity, agility, etc. It can help prevent injuries
100 push up per day for the newbie is suicide , take your time 100 push up every 3 days is better for your muscle
Really hope you can make it from 5-10. I believe you can do it bro!

I just mastered 90 Degree Pushups Thanks Chris
Last time I watched this I was level 1 now. Few months later I am at level 9 gotta grind that level 10 now
at my school people who got between 5-8 on the push-up test had to do elevated push-ups to be better at normal push-ups 💀
The funny thing is, I can do archers but I can't do the others that you showed
All those push-ups are super varied quality to challenge yourself and not boring with the same even better
Short, sweet, and badass!🔥
Handstand pushup

Bro just called me week af in 99999999999999 different languages
There's also that one Sportacus does where he has his legs lifted up at like a 30 degree angle off the ground so he has to only use arms
