she does not need that kind of publicity. Her albums still sell more then well, even compared to mainstream artists. She's on the radio all the time, people know who she is :)
She's crating a proper art, popular music art perhaps, but the actual art nevertheless, not cheesy pop, critics love her, her fans love her, and more people each day ask me about her, and start listening.
Simply put, Dido is not some cheep, trending sensation, she does not need that, she's deservingly well-known and respected :)

It's ok. Dido has had her share of success earlier in her career.
Sing anything over a Bm-G-D-A chord progression (like Despacito) and it's bound to appeal to people. Safe to say that stuff like No Freedom has a bit more nuance and originality to it as a result.
that song has huge promotion & had big name artists collaborate in remix version..this song had no such promo..if any big name artists did like Adele, Ariana or Miley her self (who covered this song before, which helped gain more popularity for Dido's original song) etc..collaborated this wud have reached more people & become a hit cuz of their fan base.
Not a fan of Miley by any means, but I'm glad she did a cover of this song so more people could discover the amazingly talented Dido. Such an underrated musician, one of the best of our generation.

Me too. Have seen Dido live singing Stan with no other than Eminem - back in 2002. It was an awesome concert, Xzibit was there too and did a bit of rapping which was excellent!! The event was at London docklands arena, isle of dogs. Took two hours for the coach (from Barnstaple, North Devon) to get from west to east London, where the concert was located! I was only 18 in 2002! How time flies as now I am double that age - getting old at 36!

I liked this song when I originally heard it and I like it more after seeing this video. There is a reason why Dido sticks out from other singers. Her voice has a way of just hitting notes and lyrics just right. I love that she doesn't try to over sing. She believes in simplicity and it works best for her and her voice.
