She never tries too hard to impress the audience. Every artist has their own style of talent in which made them uniquely successful. That's why she still holds a spot of love from many after years. True artist doesn't need to strip off their clothes to sell their music.

Sitting outside on a good sunny and warm winters day here in NZ, in quarantine, catching a nice chill vibe while I blast this in my headphones. It is a nice break away as the nation is in lock down and the world in a panic.

Three years later, we are not in lockdowns but the world is still chaotic post-covid with wars and financial worries. This song is pure escapism 20 years later and calming in stressful times and Dido has such a melodic, soothing tone to her voice.

I can so relate to this. Close to 40 years ago (come June it will be 40) I had my holiday romance. Nothing as exotic as this video - Cornwall, but even so. We lasted 9 months, and we both went off, married, divorced, and in between we had our moments. Now, we've come full circle, and are back together. The plan is to re-visit where we met later this year, but I still have sand in my shoes from the first time.

I know she’s a fairly recent artist… my mom was in love with her music. Mom died about three years ago. I’ll never hear her voice again. Playing some Dido every now and then brings my mom back a little bit. I was in the army for 8 years and saw combat, lost guys there and stateside to suicide… this song hits home.

We want to go somewhere where we can enjoy ourselves, watching the sunset with the ones we love for the whole eternity. The life of 9 to 5 job, sitting in the office, boxed up in your car, listening to the ever-going sound of the traffic makes us stressful, sorrowful, leaves us empty and broken. But this is as it should be, is it not?

Not sure why I had a desire to listen to Dido again after so many years, maybe listening to Faithless but glad I made the choice. What a great artist she was/is and this song is top notch, sure there was a Sister Bliss remix back in the day. Also amazing how many of the comments are in the last hour-day-week.
