You should make a video about Sweden's Allemansrätten, walk across a privet farm field, pick some slone berries in the rock piles, put a tent for the night in privily owned forest.

Just a word of encouragement: it's admirable of you leaving your home country to move here. I can't imagine the struggles one must go through trying to adapt to a new culture. In times of home sickness, seasonal depression and boredom, I hope you realize that we really appreciate your presence here. And as a potential antidote to diffucult times, may I suggest you give Sam Harris's book "Waking Up" a read? It has helped me approach life in a new way in the midst of severe mental struggles (due to tinnitus in my case). Also, it's a shame one doesn't live in the Malmö area anymore. Would be cool to connect with you and your fiance. I really whish you get to expand your network here with many deep genuine friendships. All the best.

Love your honesty. Yepp good analysis. having lived in America alot when i was younger i can agree with all you say. Sweden has its charm especially as i came home to Sweden in the summers i found it was magic. It made such an impression on me i still carry this with me throughout the year remembering how nice it can be. I tell you though its not getting easier...also with recent issues we have in Sweden ... its not the utopia anymore. However, question is America also aint what it was so as a Swede who loves America but still keeps these rosy images i still carry Sweden just that slight bit better :-) But i can easily see it tipping the other way especially if your not from here.

I absolutely agree, I'm from Sweden living in Sweden my whole life, but i have visited USA ( Maimi) and it was sooooo different and wayyy more fun, faster, bigger and people saw that you were a foreigner and they would walk towards you in the BIG mall or something like that, just talking. Sadly my father who are this old school man from Northern Sweden didn't like to talk too much, so i have to apologise for his behaviour 🤨.
But the trip was nice and the WEATHER, omg 😂😂😂 I'm a very light skin person, and spending 2 weeks in the saltwater under that Maimi sun, i was cooked and had to bath with t-shirt on the rest of the trip 😂😂😂.

I've heard someone say that swedes are literal sun worshippers. Like some ancient mysterious culture. Totally true.
Socially unacceptable to not be outside during May-August. Even if it's cloudy it's your civic duty to be outdoors, almost a crime and what if the sun explodes in December!! 🤭
You might be right about the US being more fun, one word to describe Sweden would be sensible and you can't have too much fun if your base-line is sensible lol. Also the US is an entire continent with 350 million people. Sweden is barely past New York City in comparison
