The “Swedish dish towel” is made out of wood (cellulose) and can be composed. Super environmentally friendly!
Regarding the weather, i am originally from Iraq and the temperature there in summer reaches +50 degrees and above in the southern parts, have been living in Sweden for 30 years. I live in Lund since i came here, it's just 20 minutes by bus from Malmö city.
Actually i don't have any problem with the cold weather (i prefer it more than hot one) or the darker weeks we have over here, it's just normal for me because it's about 2-3 weeks then the sun will shine again even though the coldness still until end of March. Also i have a dog that i take out 4 times a day which distract me from the weather conditions a lot.
So in short, we need to adapt, this is how we can live our life :)
The best thing is your positivity, it's infectious. Keep the vids coming, girl 🙂🤭🤠
Yep and swedish refill system, soap, co2 cartridge for sodastream, refill mops etc. You Kim can work as a tourist guide.
As a guy from northern Sweden i find it so funny that you think the winters in Malmö are cold and dark, Upp North you can get 6 feet of snow and not see the sun at all for months. And that is still warm winters compared to other places as far north like Siberia and Alaska :)
Malmö is dreary hell hole in winter. No snow usually, but the bone chilling wind from every direction no matter which direction you turn. Miserable. Prefer 6 foot snow over that.
@@rosen9425 noo it's nice
Ikea aren't the only ones making similar bags. I have one Clas Ohlsson bag and a Bauhaus bag in addition to my Ikea bag collection. They are both slightly thicker than the Ikea bags and they are both slightly more box shaped and look slightly more elegant, but in essense they do the same job as the Ikea bag and roughly as well.
Rusta, Willys.. lång lista.
Couple of weeks til spring
Spring is my favourite period
I can recommend microfiber towels which you can use for dusting as well as cleaning any type of surface, such as windows, without any detergent, you only need water. And they can be easily washed and re-used.
Yes, I do have several IKEA bags, they are so handy and they can be used over and over again.... for years!! :)
Du är bäst Kim, alltid positiv och med ett outstanding leende! Du gör min dag. Kul att du gillar vårt fika☕️🍩🍰
Thank you for sharing 😊 Snart kommer sommaren tillbaka ☀️
The dish towel you should was in the machine or boyl so you get rid of bacteria and dirt.
You can wash you Wettex trasor in the laundry machine together with your kitchen towels. Unless they’re too worn, they will come out just fine. 60 degrees Celcius water temperature works fine. The dishwasher is not the ideal machine to wash it in as it doesn’t spin. Materials need to spin to get the detergent out before and after rinsing. Just consider and clean these trasor/rags like any other material.
IKEA-bags is a very common laundry bag it seems. I have one.
so for food recipe i recomend teh arla app and i peronaly love the ikea frezzer bag for when i have to buy frozen food or cleen the frezzer
I’m in the UK and combine dishcloths like that, and yes you can wash them and compost them.
Fika with Kimberly Sorce is what we like
🥰
You can only wash the Microfiber dish cloths. They are available in any grocery store and can be washed in the washing machine with your clothes.
Thanks for the hack, I'm Swedish so it's nothing new, I have 4 large Ikea bags and 2 small ones 😜 But didnt know the other hacks was uniqe Swedish things.
I have a great hack to: Because I live 10 min from a grocery store if you go with car and I can't so I have to take the bus and it can be hard to get all food home alone, so my solution is that I bought a small cart from Ikea and you can just put the bag ( Ikea bag - specially designed with ribbions) so you can just click them around the cart and the bag will stay there, then you can close and open the bag with a zipper. You find them to the left just before the checkout. I use it when I'm buying food so I don't have to carry it home and it goes well on the bus. Before I used to buy a simular cart but it was in some kind of fabric and couldn't take so much, I think/guessing you have seen old lady's walking around with those, you can find them in many stores but the
quality is not that good so I had to buy new ones all the time. The Ikea bag/cart hold much longer. I also use it when I'm going to recycling for the heavy stuff and when I'm traveling it's perfect as a rolling-bag. My son always have to have his ps4 everywhere when we travel and it's perfect for it. I can put a link for you if my description was bad 😂 I actually saw that it's name on Ikea is "Rullebör" 😂 which is a slang expression from Skåne, the usual Swedish word is Skottkärra = Wheelbarrow. I also saw people using it to the laundry room so they don't have to carry. Haha this was a long comment 🤣
btw do you prefer your comments in swedish lr english?

Så det är typ en IKEA version av en dramaten 🙂
@@kittehgo japp typ fast bättre enligt mig
You should try northen Sweden both in summer and winter. The sun never goes away in the summer but in the winter its up for only some time. Try it
Ikea bags are the best. I use them for carrying my firewood in to the house. 6 of them in use and wouldn´tsurvive without them. Pas, i live in Finland in an 19o year old loghouse.
Yep, Swish is cool and Wettex towels kick ass (p.s. don't use the Wettex that long, they are a bacteria magnet, at minimum wash them but better yet you need to change them now and again, say every 10 days or so).
We have not so many IKEA bags but Gekås bags insted
You should visit some Scanian castles like Torup just outside Malmö.
Swisch is excellent. Haven't used cash in many years here in Sweden. I don't even know what our Swedish money looks like anymore.
Hahaha! I could easily be tricked with Monopoly money!
I still used cash when a 20kr bill was called "a Selma", because a picture of Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf was on it.
To American viewers, perhaps we should add that Swish is a system where all the banks are linked to the Swish register of phone numbers, that are linked to the users of the app.
When you "swish" someone you type that person's phone number, the app gives you the name of the person (so you can check it matches what you typed. It's easy to get a figure wrong, and if you are unlucky you could, theoretically swish someone else).
When you have the matching name, have typed the sum the app asks you to open your Bank-ID (digital ID-card, app, something you need for EVERYTHING you do on the Internet where it's important that you are YOU.) You identify yourself with your code, and the money is transferred from your bank, via your PHONE NUMBER, to the other person's PHONE NUMBER, to the bank. Immediately.
No account numbers, only phone numbers. On your bank app you can see if the money is on your account or not, whether you sent or received it.
Thanks to the Bank-ID only you can access your money. You never have to tell anyone your bank account number.
Even the original Vileda Wettex will cost only 3-4 sek. There are also cheaper "pirated" sponge cloths similar to Wettex.
Being that affordable it will be possible to change the dish cloth once a week.
But if you insist on keeping your cloth for longer there are certainly different possibilities to clean it.
There are also thinner, but larger Wettex cloths, I think it's a roll, and you cut it as a big piece you want.
In Norway we have Vipps instead of Swish
I think you will learn to love four seasons many who move from here miss this terribly even though it is a little darker in the winter but we have planes to warmer continents in the summer and in the winter if you feel like it therefore Swedes are one of the world's most traveled people for sun warmth and bathing Don't forget wine and beer and alcohol is usually cheaper in other countries My keyboard doesn't work the buttons with period etc I spilled some wine and I don't want to change I apologize if it's missing
Jāttebra! It’s true: How did we get stuff done before the IKEA bag? 😅❤
China had wechat pay which you can pay for everything for the past 15 years..that Swedish towel was made in China also
It's too bad they closed the small IKEA store on Triangeln. I went there on one of the last days and bought a couple of IKEA bags.
okay i am a swedish borgmästare and i live in Nässjö yeah it can get very nice there if you wake up on a certing time in summer
Kimberly, I don't have an IKEA bag and I'm swedish. Instead, I have a similar bag from JYSK.
I dont have Ikea bag, but i have ICA MAXI bags 2 for buying food so no need for plastic ones, for info we have a whashing machie so need to carry it. And yes this ikea bags are good, but dont own one and YES we FIKA all the time everyday all day i make sure i have a coffe mug in my hand and kanelbulle
How funny, I got an Messenger commercial about Readly today, and lost it cause of stuff came up. Then could not remember what it was called. I'll use your link cause i want this subscription, and you also give 2 more weeks of free i notice than what the commercial offered that i saw. "iT's A sIgN!". I love how you describe odd things to you, had no clue you didn't use Dishrags in the states! And yes, guilty owner of many IKEA bags, they will never break so you can use them for anything, like forever. I should be better on the Fika though. I just dont down that much coffee.
Not everyone have Swish. Many but not all. You can "blip" with your bank card though.
Isn't IKEA bag just equal to any bag though. I'm confused
Have you had any semla today?
I am pleased to hear that you've found some hacks that will make your life a bit easier. I have to say though, that since you've lived in Sweden for quite some time now, I am surprised that you haven't learned the correct pronounciation of names like "Malmö" and "Ikea". You still pronounce them as if they were English names (which they obviously aren't). Seems like you need to hang around more Swedes who can teach you the correct way of these names (and probably some more too). Good luck!
I think we have all of these hacks in the Netherlands as well, but with different names. I have the feeling that these are more like European hacks in general
Oh I forgot a question, what's unique about fika? I mean everywhere in the world people take coffee breaks? Don't they? I don't understand really but for me fika is just normal..
Are you in the north because it isn’t dark all over Sweden in winter?
There is fika and there is gofika... check that out. =)
kul som vanligt
Put disktrasan in the dishwasher, not good to use it for long without clean it.
I was so dumb I thought the Katy Perry song "Swish Swish" was about the payment method!
I don't have an Ikea bag :)
We don´t have an IKEA-bag. Honestly. 🤣😂
You are not lazy
5:25 i have two
I do not have an Ikea bag 😂

Im living in skärhamn in sweden im short youtuber yours video is good
Try living in Ghana for a real change!!
So, 4 life hacks and a sneaky commercial 😂
NOT everyone got it - most people still use their card. But when you live in the large cities and do something it ALWAYS go for ALL Swedes, doesn't it?
Hej Did you se my tips about The American vlogger in Helsingborg? Hej schwish is Great..
1 out of 5 was the sponsor of the video? Not Swedish...
I am disappointed, you should be integrated enuff now to appreciate the pros of a shoehorn 😂 Clearly you have some road ahead of you in becoming Swedish :)
It's pronounced fiiika with a long "i" not ficka. However, keep the good work up 😃
As a Swede I can with 101% certainty say I do not have Swish
?
Ica påse
That disktrasa life hack you mention is out of date if you ask me, mikrofiberduk is the way to go they are much better and is called ”mirakeltrasa” the reason why is because that disktrasa you use only pushes the dirt away and mikrofiberduk "sucks" up all the dirt and bacteria 😅
'promosm' 😅
Learn Svahili, it is good to know, now when Swedes are in the minority
Too obvious commercial hidden in there.
"MALMO" ?? MALMÖ !!
Norrkoping, Orebro, Vaxjo :))
Eskilstuna, Västerås, Nyköping
Are you over 16!? "Fanny and Alexander (1982) - Trailer" The Saldo-Man satisfies all your needs - And makes your life more enjoyable. That was shameless promotion. 😷
So one life hack was the sponsor of the video… low…
Now you're starting to be way too much Swedish warning warning IKEA bags hahaaaaaaaa))))))).....and dishcloth It's getting to be too much You mustn't reveal too much of the Swedes' secrets)). congratulations Your boy he has succeeded you blend in.....
I don't actually have an IKEA BAG. IKEA is rubbish, ugly furniture and tasteless food in the restaurant.
NO
From inspiring and interesting to boring product placement.
@readly just do ads
Kim No ist bette to put a short commercial every 3 min so
