The resting room is a legal requirement. If the company has more than 50 employees a permanent room needs to be set up for this. If you have less than 50 employees you just need to be able to quickly change an existing room into a resting room.
I enforced this at my first employer (also a growth company originating from Malmö). We were 28 when I joined, but later when we needed to expand with a second floor, I convinced the company that it was a good idea. (I also needed it personally, for doing medication/treatment privately)
When I left, after 12 years, there were 1400 employees in 10+ countries...

Totally agree with this video! My wife and I are moving back to Sweden next month (we lived in Malmö for four years prior to COVID). We both loved the work style there. And Malmö is a great town! We are moving to Gämla Staden area and my office is two blocks from yours!

Hi there, if your spouse is Swedish, you'll have to go to the Immigration centre and register and once this is done, you can apply for your personal number from Skatteverket, which has 4 more numbers after your DOB. Once, you've done this they want you to study Swedish at SFI, as you still need to speak good enough Swedish to apply for work. My husband is English and we lived at home in Sweden, I'm Swedish, for eight years before moving back to England. Anyway, I know my husband changed his surname to my maiden name, which is Swedish to apply for work, as they were a bit uncertain about his English surname. Did you experience this Kimberly? my husband still speaks Swedish fluently.

Congratulations! You asked a question about "how many offices have a restroom". There's a law in Sweden that any office should have a place ready for anyone that's not feeling well or needs to rest. In larger offices this should be a permanent room. So to answer your question: quite a lot 🙂

Din arbetsplats har ett väldigt bra läge i Malmö. 500 metrer till centralstationen och massor av trevliga barer,restauranger och fik vid stortorget och lilla torg. Lycka till med jobbet.

Well done and congrats to the 1st job (in Sweden). Good location for the office, couldn't be more central and close to all and everything. Loads of decent lunch restaurants nearby also.

Hey nice video. I also plan to move to Sweden but from Germany. What do you think how important is it to speak Swedish from the beginning or can you make us with English only. Also I may consider more to move more northern and to the countryside, cities just aren’t for me.

"How many offices have restrooms?". Well, I think by law you need to have one in Sweden. Of course it doesn't have to be super accessible and look that nice, but I can't remember a workplace I've had where this wasn't the case.

Självlklart får hon ett jobb snabbt, ung snygg tjej, och youtuber t.o.m. En gammal gubbe som jag, nä jag behövs ingenstans. But understand me right, she is smart and well educated person, of course she gets a job on her merits too. I'm old and bitter.
Det är tyvär skillnad på invandrare och invandrare. Bra gjort av Kimberly, men en mörkhyad invandrare är i underläge redan från början. Ledsamt.
@@robertjonsson5750 Det du säger är delvis sant. Räknar du Asiater som Kineser, Vietnameser, Thailändare, Filippinier, Koreaner med flera och alla Sydamerikaner till denna grupp? Jag ser inga generella problem med någon av dessa mörkhyade invandrare! De kommer hit, lär sig språket kvickt och hittar arbete/utbildning per omgående. De är fantastiska samhällsbyggare. När det gäller invandrare från Muslimska länder är det tvärtom. Varför? Vårt fel eller?

Hi, Nice workplace 👌 - A thing in Sweden i that Arbetsmiljöverket (The Work Environment Agency) has a lot of rules that come from arbetsmiljölagen (Work Environment law/Act) that states that there most be a Restroom or else... But most firms does this anyway because they like to be competitive in the labor market... Kind of boring comment 😑 but just so you get the background.

well I lived in SWEDEN 45 years That is not my memories of SWEDEN LOL I remember 25% sale TAX Car Tolls parking ticket Quality of the food could not be sold in America And the winter darkness It is little different than San Diego But i guess it is not perfect anywere Good Luck to you
