CVS and Walgreens are overpriced to the point where I have no idea how they stay in business. You have to be a member to get any of their deals and even then you’re not getting a deal, you’re paying the same price that they retail for elsewhere.
I was in Walgreens lately and their skincare and makeup was priced two times more than the exact same thing at Wal-Mart.
If you get their app there are tons of coupons and you usually get 30-40% off purchase every week. I never pay full price
As a broke college student, please tell me where is the best places to get affordable skincare 😭 I see Walmart was already mentioned.

So glad you didn't miss the Hello brand "Magical Mermaid Orange Dreamsicle" toothpaste to the right!😁 The tube is shaped like a mermaids tail and it's really yummy I really like Hello kids toothpastes so much. I took your advice on using kids non mint/cinnamon flavors years ago. It really made a difference no more burning and redness around my Fitzpatrick 1 rosaceal prone skin.
Huge fan of all the Hello kids toothpastes but especially love the mermaid. I order it from Walmart.

I absolutely love Nécessaire shampoo and conditioner!! My thin fine hair and scalp are much healthier after using them for over a year now. As a pharmacist and derm geek… I am recommending them quite often to my customers. Absolutely fantastic!!

The Aveeno Calm + Restore is fantastic. However, the prices are extremely expensive.
I've been buying Target Up and Up Eucerin dupes since years, since Dr. Drau recommended Eucerin for the skin issues I had.
I noticed that most of the products you showed and what I could see - the prices are comparable here in Canada. It's not right how everything has gone up and the products have diminished 😏 I haven't tried any new skin care, I've been using the same cleanser and moisturizer for over 5 years 🥰 The Neutrogena and Vanicream products are my favorites 💕 Take care everyone 🌹
CVS dupes Eucerin Intensive Repair lotion. I love it. I use it a lot for my body and face. Im an RN, I wash my hands constantly; it keeps my hands hydrated and soft.

Too bad here in Greece we don't a good store brand skincare products most of them have fragrance and it's a no go for me. CeraVe moisturizing cream and lotion are my favorites simple no nonsense ingredient list. Love cvs skincare product hunting have a great day Doctor Andrea😊❤.

Definitely use coupons for app if shopping at cvs or Walgreens. No one has mentioned that Walgreen's is the only drugstore I know of that you can return cosmetics after you try them if they do not work for you.

Hiya Dr. Dray .... are you all ok with the fires there Has the smoke come to your area... we are following in Canada because of the horrific fires for months here in summer 2023. One thing, if you feel you may wish to cover, is possible information for people to prepare NOW in winter--pre buy air purifiers and air conditioning units etc when are on sale possibly. Summer 2024 is going to be heinous sadly and smoke may travel, once agai,n below the border. We did not get snow basically so the fires will be immense due to high volume of areas in all provinces and territories without structures nor people. Alaska as well--just not enough snow. Ski mountains had to close all across the nation. So much more wild wilderness thus timber. @@DrDrayzday

I really enjoy the purple, skin renewing line from CeraVe. The only exception is the nightly exfoliating treatment. It has an awful odor I can't get passed. It contains fenugreek which has a strong odor and it doesn't fade away after application. 😟 I don't shop at my CVS anymore because they are so expensive. That bottle of Amlactin is proof! 😮

Great video as always! However, CVS prices are getting ridiculous. I can get the name brand of a product at Walmart and still have it cheaper than the CVS brand. With that said, I usually stick with the Walmart brand Equate to get an even better bang for my buck. I still love browsing CVS, though. 😊
How CVS gets away with charging those insane prices, is beyond me. I'm not afraid of dropping some serious coin on good quality products, but those prices are crazy! That being said, I tried the new-ish Cerave Oil Cleanser--very good, but I wouldn't say it works any better than their foaming facial cleanser. I was hopeful the oil cleanser would take off my tube-mascara easier, but I can't say I noticed any difference. Both great cleansers! Their (cerave) moisturizing cleanser isn't as great for taking off makeup & sunscreen, but if you must wash your face twice/daily, it would be a nice cleanser for the morning. That CeraVe moisturizing cream is one of my holy grail products, and those tubs last FOREVER. I love multitasking products, so it's nice to have something that my face loves yet is cheap enough to slather all over my legs if I want to
Good as a hand cream too since it isn’t greasy or sticky and absorbs quickly.

I gave up on cerave am with sunscreen years ago because it pilled so bad...omg..got a sample in the mail yesterday and it was even worse than I remembered!!!!! impossible to rub in and the pilling was ridiculous!!! I had put on an etude moisturizer about 45 mins previous to trying, but that is longer than I would ever wait to apply sunscreen.....still unfortunately passing on create.
CeraVe Am pills horribly on me, the CVS dupe does not
I don’t like the AM CeraVe at all. I use the PM during the day and put my own sunscreen (A’Pieu or Rodan and Fields) over it. I have rosacea and eczema and I can pay for a skincare “mistake” for WEEKS on my face, so I’m SUPER careful. Regarding the Aveeno Calm and Restore, the facial moisturizer in the little jar is fantastic! I use it at night and am considering replacing my pricey Rodan and Fields Soothe products with the Aveeno Calm and Restore line.
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray! I recently had to return CeraVe AM with Sunscreen. My eyes burned and watered for hours. Just couldn’t do it. I tried 3 times and nope 👎 not for me.
The CeraVe AM and ANY Neutrogena sunscreen or face moisturizer are NOs for me. My face and eyes hate them and will let me know it for a week if I try using them.

I would love for you to do a video on using tretinoin. But also using retinol, maybe other night or how that would be applied?? I guess I am wondering if I am using tretinon. Should I be using retinal as well... I have had over 200 stitches on my face from skin cancer. I am now finally taking care of my skin. And I know the biggest thing is wearing sunscreen. GM Dr Dray! Last night I was shopping on yes style for “Isntree Onion Newpair sunscreen” and it showed a warning for CA customers about exposure to Titanium dioxide that took me to Proposition 65 list of chemicals that can cause cancer. I was so surprised and worried that TiO2 is on the list. So, does that mean TiO2 sunscreens can harm us? Or only if it is in aerosolized ones? Will you be able to enlighten us please? Thank you!

THE LA ROCHE POSAY I used their Sun Screen It actually isn't a very strong screen but with a hat to it worked out for me and my skin is kind of fair I like the little curls the ones that make your features pop out I think I might try that for one of my sisters Her face is more oval mine is square So if she let's me I will do those little curls and cut her hair a bit and maybe a little color (henna?) Lol take care keeping busy tired of being retired

is the dove dandruff dryness and itch relief shampoo meant to be used as a treatment, then use a normal shampoo since your not supposed to double wash with a dandruff shampoo but you allowed with a normal shampoo?

Amlactin is $17.99 at my Costco, and $13.99 when it’s on sale. It goes on sale several times a year and I always stock up. I can’t believe it’s $38 at CVS now. It used to be $28 at CVS. That may be the worst case of price gauging I’ve seen! 😱

I pray you see this and reply. I have been getting very itchy acne and there is nothing except 3 months of antibiotics that helped me with the previous flare up. Now after 8 months It has started again. I never had acne in my teens. Now in late twenties suddenly I am getting acne. Helpppp
Itchy acne ? I don’t think that’s common. Sounds like time to see a dermatologist.
@@Hemmyii Oh I did. 8 months ago. He gave me antibiotics for 3 months and some Actin serum. It helped. They cleared up. But now back again.

You can use adapalene. Dr Dray has a video on adapalene for anti-aging. She's also got videos on not needing to use two retinoid products.

Can't really compare apples to oranges- they're a different type of retinoid,but both work, so just keep using the one you're tolerating. Anti aging properties will only work in the long run regardless of the "strength" of the product 🤷🏼♀️
