Budget friendly skincare is effective you guys and maybe superior to high end skincare . Love the shop with me videos always so many gems are discovered together with Doctor Andrea .

Nowadays I know that Hawaiian Tropic is too fragranced for me to use on a consistent basis. But back when I was a teenager in the late 80s and early 90s, when nobody was talking about the importance of sunscreen, I actually started using it on my own simply because I liked the fragrance of it. So I thank God for Hawaiian Tropic because it started me on a lifetime of sun protection just because of its appealing smell. As you say, Dr dray, the best sunscreen is the one that you will use!

I suggested to my (new) partner that we celebrate on Feb. 26 instead. It's because it will be our first anniversary of being together...even though we'd been platonic friends for 40 years. On the 14th, we really don't want to sit in a restaurant full of other loved up couples!
I was with my first partner for 36 years (before he passed away). Never would I have dreamed that I would fall in love again, especially with someone who was previously just a friend. Lightning does strike twice it seems.

I use the Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream as a lip balm. At night, I slather it on, then top with the healing balm from CeraVe.
Im loving that LRP lotion SPFs 70 for this winter time which I’m indoors a lot 👌🏼
I use the Vanicream face bar instead of cleansers in my attempt use less plastic. Good old Dove sensitive skin is great too.

I have the tingle with carmax spf lip balm one too. Banana boat, aquaphor, and the ecolips vanilla spf surprisingly hasn't been bad for me.
The Thayers Snow Mushroom is great!
I’ve actually been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost body lotion on the backs of my hands at night before bed & have to say that one is working the best.

i LOVE the snow mushroom toner from Thayer's. It's very hydrating but lightweight. It also has citric acid in it, which according to a phone representative from the company, is supposed to act as a mild exfoliant. It's very gentle though, and I use it everyday.

I am very intrigued by the Thayers toner with snow mushroom. I’ve been using a snow mushroom gel I bought off Amazon for I think $12 for a pint. So far no irritation, I like it a lot.

your video on how to get rid of black dots was a GAME CHANGER, I had no idea they were hairs! I couldnt understand why my salicylic treatments werent working in some areas-mystery now solved!!
How did you get rid of them?
@@stephie8978 Ok, so this is probably not what one should do..... but I didnt have any biore nose strips but I had some Veet face wax strips and so I used that and it all came out. I didn't use any exfoliants for two days after to avoid compromising the barrier any further.
As a side note-I have combo skin with a very oily nose, large pores and a tendency for true blackheads as well and since I started using an azelaic acid cream my face has become much more "balanced" ie not so oily or dry. But removing the hairs has made a big difference!

I love NYX fat oil...the formula is so good. There's actually a dupe labeled Jolly Jo Jo fyt oil that I actually prefer 😆. The formula is a bit more cushion-y which I love.
I have tried some of the La Roche Posay sunscreens and I have not been a fan. They definitely pill and have a really weird smell. I don’t know why people go so crazy for this brand. So many other options that are better. I will have to try the specific ones you recommended 😊though and see if those are any better! Thanks for your review!
Every single one I’ve bought and used has pilled up too. Disappointing considering how expensive their spfs are. I’d love to try the European versions which I’ve heard are better.

you should try the ultraviolette spf lip gloss.
She'd probably warn against the peppermint flavor though.
Thayers SnowMushroom toner is good but it peels depending on the moisturizer u use

Happy ♥️ Dr Dray & viewers! I use SPF everyday however when wearing sunscreen that is water resistant during the warmer months, it makes me feel more hotter and sweat. It feels as though the sunscreen is a mask on my pores that my skin cannot breath. Is this a usual phenomenon or is it just me.
Other folks have commented they feel when they wear sunscreen it feels like a mask.

LOVE the biore nose strip hack for the tiny hairs. I was going crazy last year and switching up exfoliates, which didn't help. I use the strips maybe once a month along with a weekly exfoliating toner and my nose looks great now 🫶 Also happy valentines day to my favorite Drm ❤❤❤

Happy V-Day ! 💜 The NYX Butter Gloss isn’t the greatest, but I love the Strawberry Cheesecake color, so to make it last I use a clear gloss topper. You should try the NYX Fat Oil, they’re not really an oil consistency, but a thick gloss, and not sticky. Lasts long on the lips compared to most. I’m a major lip gloss junkie ! There could be worse habits, right ?! 🤣😂

I really like Milani lip oils, but you have to reapply frequently. My husband pointed that out, like “how many times are you gonna put stuff on your lips?” I really enjoy reapplying though 😂

I never liked the butter glosses either. I wanted to like them so bad but they just are very underwhelming to me. They smelled nice but they weren't very hydrating or shiny to me. I didn't get the hype at all. But I guess for the price it can be alright. I do like the one fat oil that I have.

All the LaRoche-Posay sunscreens I’ve tried have all felt too heavy to me in comparison to my Asian sunscreens so I just don’t end up reaching for them and regret purchasing. And I have normal to dry skin too.
Dr Dray have you tried the ILIA Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm?? I have it in the shade MEMOIR. It's beautiful and I'm obsessed but like all lip products I experience an irritation in my mouth..the inner part of my bottom lip. So annoying! Any idea what ingredient it could be??
There is beeswax and orange peel wax in there.
I have a couple of NYX lip butter glosses and while I like the look and feel of them, they last a mere 5 minutes before fading away. Truly disappointing. 😕 I love Vanicream's gentle facial cleanser and yes, it is much less expensive elsewhere compared to Walgreen's. I find it at Walmart and Target for $8.99 and my Kroger also carries it for about a dollar more. 👍
