The idea that an alien is stressed because her sister thinks I'm not a cow is honestly really adorable
I have a feeling the reason why the character in the video tries to help us look like a cow and gets angry at her sister for saying we're a non-cow, is because she sees her in us. Her appearance stands out more than the characters in the other videos, so it's assumed that she was treated differently and called terrible things as well in her past. It's quite heart warming that she tries to help us feel better for being an "extraordinary cow", and that we shouldn't blame ourselves for something we can't control. For being born simply the way we are. But it's just what I assume and it isn't a proven fact. She's probably a normal character who simply felt sympathy for us.

I continue to love the vibe of this series. Can’t pin down exactly what makes it work so well, but in my opinion the Not-Cow series is among your best work. I think the only things I get more excited to see in my subscriptions are the wholesome tiefling librarian videos.

my headcannon for this 'series' is that the aliens here don't comprehend the differences between mammals on a specie level the way we do as the ppl living here.
so they just call any & all mammals "cow" and think of mammals as basically the same kind of creature, with actual cows being their default. so on a fundamental level they will never actually underestand why we insist we are not a cow.

I absolutely love the contrast in (now dubbed) Believer, and our first character!
One knows we are not cow, and the other believes we are 100%
You can even see the contrast in character design, With our first character having lots of white dots around the eyes and our current one with just 2 little dots separated at the bottom of each eye, white hair compared to the pink, this one braided while the other's was loose, and a futuristic outfit with no sleeves to a modern jacket-esque.
Purposeful or not, I love this!

Well, they are slime based and we are not. They speak a language we apparently can't understand. We were abducted by them, and they wouldn't abduct one of their own.

I saw Amy (or possibly a fan theory )comment on one of the other not cow videos that the aliens change to reflect whatever species they are interacting with, so the cows see a more cow like alien and we see a more human like alien

This series is legitimately some of the best comedy I’ve seen. The premise is unique and hilarious and the execution is just MWAH! And it’s even in ASMR form. I could see this as a really funny movie
