Glad you are enjoying your FL5! I have a sonic grey one (also in the UK) and the colour is great. Looks blue sometimes, grey other times. But really shows of the lines and details. Black was my second choice and would of happily taken it. I know what you mean about the ‘anxiety’ - with it being so rare I am scared to park and leave it anywhere in a city 😂. I bought it as a daily, replacing a Golf R, but now I think it’s too special to be a like for like replacement. It’s a keeper though!!
Luckily the reg I have on it makes people think it’s a 2015 model 😮💨. Sonic grey is the colour to have with this type R, highly underrated so glad you got it
@@ArmaganDemiral bedding in for driving it hard is one thing but cars still open over time. It's the same with a high endish speakers. Some recommend something like 20 hours run in time but more you do after that makes it sound even better
I really wanna get one i cant afford 40k for this one... But i can get the FK8 but everyone says its ugly.. but i like... Would you recommend getting FK8? Or waiting 3-4 years for the FL5?
Appreciate the videos, looking forward to receiving my car in March. What’s the interior build quality like? There’s a few posts on the Civic forums RE really annoying squeaks and rattles. Have you thought about using individual mode to get rid of the adaptive sound?

I'm not a fan of screen clusters, I prefer dials but Honda have nailed it with this Civic. I like it.!

A car is not fully beaded in until 10k miles so mpg will still improve and obviously the cold weather doesn't help

The door card red strip lights are not standard … they are an option
I think it comes standard on UK type r models, in the US its different

Appreciate that Jim. Interior quality is excellent but there are minor squeaks (no rattles). Also never thought of that, great idea ahah
