When my wife was pregnant, everybody would cite 16 weeks as a crucial line between common miscarriage and having a viable pregnancy. I wonder if Americans would compromise on a reasonable number of weeks and settle their differences on the matter. Probably not.

Medical decisions should be left up to medical professionals and their patients, not politicians vying for votes, or teary-eyed know-nothing busybodies who think they’re savin’ babies, when they’re actually killing mothers.

Voting "party over personality" which is better described as "party over actual policies and ability to get the job done" is beyond stupid. There are situations where a candidate is actually just good for a position overall with a good track record, but they might not be the party people blindly check all for.
To be honest, I couldn't care less about personality so much as the ability for the person to do the job they're trying to get with the results benefiting the people they're working for.

A thing voters need to keep in mind is that republicans running on the 15 weeks don't have to believe what they're saying and can vote for 6 weeks once in. Voters should keep in mind, who they actually think can do the job. Every politician can decide to change their position once they get into office for whatever reason. That's how democracies work.
And that's my problem with Democrats, it's always, pay attention to what Republicans are doing, instead of talking about what Democrats can do for voters. We get it, Trump has 4 indictments, the Republican party has gone off the rails. But if you can't speak to how a Democrat party would help Americans, who cares. I'm an animator, and when I go into an interview, I never say, "There are large swathes of people that can't draw a stick figure, in conclusion, that's why you should hire me."

Keep in mind when our fore-fathers were writing the CONSTITUTION of the United States they were concerned about two things:
1 - Separation of church and state:
The RIGHT to WORSHIP as you saw fit - - remember that is one BIG REASON they left England
2 - The other was that they would write in the CONSTITUTION that NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
They were leaving an INSTITUTION where a KING was in charge and ABOVE ALL LAWS!
Our FORE-FATHERS would not have ALLOWED THEMSELVES to write ANY LAWS that didn't INCLUDE THE PRESIDENT and the VICE-PRESIDENT from having to also be accountable.

Kind of peculiar that most talk about the same issues and ways to fix those issues yet the same will either do nothing or vote for the wrong people. It's a vicious cycle of insanity doing the same things over and over expecting a different result. So on one hand Yes doing either the right thing (which is far to often not the case) or doing the wrong thing, is better then doing nothing but it seems like that is always the excuse. The way out. Yet there were other options yet you didn't choose them because they were either unpopular, unwinnable or lacked experience. Just follow the same old political hack television shows and radio channels telling us what to think how to act and what to say and especially how to vote. Rather then thinking for yourself and question authority. Noone is perfect but I'd rather be more in the right column then the wrong one.
