This is very accurate even the opening scene is based on an actual documentary where Williams rides the very same type of bike in exactly the same upright style!!

Absoloutely love this! Michael Sheen was wonderful as Kenneth and one of the only actors I know of who could pull off both his voice and look as well as he did. Such a shame that Kenneth Willams was so unhappy in his private life. Although he didn't think much of the Carry On's he bloody well made them!
Kenneth williams, Brian Clough, David Frost, Chris Tarrant... Sheen is superb in all of them! Can't fault him!

Sheen is a cut down Irish name.
Kenneth suffered with stomach ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome. It made his life a misery towards the end. On top of the professional discontentment he felt.... :-(

I walked past KW once in London and he looked at me like I was something not very nice he has just trodden in ! Maybe he was trying to discourage me from acknowledging his existence as a celebrity.He neednt have worried I wouldn't have dreamed of trying to approach him,he looked well scary.

When I first watched him in carry on camping I thought he had a perkey life with a nice wife and a nice house but then I found out he was camp and had a depressed life it did make me upset alot

This Michael Sheen has nailed it.I'm sure he is really effeminate in his roles suggest. In tron he was very camp as Zeus/Casper and in Woody's Paris he played a refined metrasexual certainly not an alpha male even his straight role as David Frost added a campness to it. Anyway I find this Michael guy a great actor.

Man Sheen wasn't kidding when he said he had to lose a lot of weight for this film, don't like him so skinny!

Yeah I agree he's to much for my liking .I agree that David Benson is far more Kenneth like and does not camp the role up as much I also don't like the way Kenneth Williams is made to come across in this drama. Lets not forget he was a very funny man and gave a lot of people fun and enjoyment from his work! He was not all doom and gloom ... :)

What's the whole thing with the farting? I saw another movie about Sid James and Barbra Windsor's affair and Kenneth Williams portrayal involved him farting a lot, why is that significant to his life?

I agree with comment somewhere below, this performance is way over the top. The guy who plays Williams in 'Cor blimey!' is far better......and more likeable.
I much prefer David Benson (Think No Evil of Us) or Adam Godley (Cor Blimey) playing Kenneth Williams. Although Michael Sheen is a really good actor, I find him way too OTT in this.
