After reading his diaries & seeing his love of literature & his comments about teaching, I often wonder if he'd have been happier as a fabulously eccentric English & Drama teacher.

Fascinating, eccentric but charming man
And I know what he means when he says the way he acts for laughs conflicts with who Kenneth really was, I really know that, but he'd be as he said would be giving up the laughs,
There are definitely some folk who have or do live a secret lonesome life of misery/ pain of whatever kind, who have a hysterical side which is beneficial to others,
Kenneth's life was about making others laugh and entertain them, while he fed from the laughter it generated💙

High camp is not the same as very camp. High camp is something like the ball scene by Cecil Beaton in My Fair Lady or Diaghilev’s ballet productions.
