I am one of those people with a keen ear. Phil Hartman played them during the first season and Maurice La Marche played them during the second. This commercial sounds like Maurce La Marche.

Not sure, but Hartman was Henry Mitchell (Dennis's Dad) for most of the run.

According to IMDB Phil and Maurice both played Mr. Wilson and Mr. Mitchell. Not sure what the arrangement was there but if you have a keen ear you can tell who's who in some episodes.

And unfortunately, they got that hack Tom Arnold to play Mr. Wilson in "Cruise Control" But thankfully, Maurice reprised his role as Mr. Mitchell

Yeah. I wonder why they didn't have Maurice play both characters for that. I guess they wanted a large voice cast or something.
