Something that really breaks my heart at the end is how when the other girl says "there's nothing there", she most likely was actually talking about the supposed face in the window. As in, "there's Noone watching us, it's fine".
But to miss perfect, whose mind has already gone into panic mode and who is convinced that she can never be with a girl, she misinterprets it into "I don't feel any love for you".
the thing I love about musical theater is how, even off stage, they're still acting. You see this so often with cast recordings, and this video just proves it.
