I have more rosy pink in my skin during cold months but during the summer I get more yellow. I'm never a true "warm" or a true "cold" tone. It's always closer to right in the middle at neutral but shifts slightly one way or the other depending on circumstance. It doesn't make sense but it does at the same time.😅😂

I'm honestly so confused why brands are letting these famous influencers dodge putting proper disclaimers on their sponsored videos, especially since the fines from FTC are so harsh. It's also a reason why I always have an endcard that thanks the company I got the product from and disclaimers in my description and hashtags. It's not hard to be honest!

Some people watch because they want to see what new products are out there (I do anyway). I like seeing what new things people come upnaith to creatively sell the exact same product but in a different fancy packaging. The issue is that people believe these influencers.
@@qwmxI get that but a few of these super problematic ones are always the most popular, which is troubling. Back in the golden era of blogging and YT (2008-2012) the vast majority of us beauty and nail bloggers/vloggers disclosed and did not lie. The “loving every single product ever” thing started once TikTok got huge. Even Nikki Tutorials has to play that “omg it’s the best product ever” game to keep relevant with the TikTokers.

It’s not that they don’t get it . They do not care because they know they won’t have to deal with any consequences. They are still followed/supported and brands are still working with them. The best thing that might make things change is to cut out the source itself ( money).

You can always tell based on how they speak, like reading off a scripted review wayyy overhyped the product, versus someone who's not so organized in their presentation of the review, becausd theyre naturally speaking about the product. Idk if that made sense 😂

So I'm a pro makeup artist and if you have cooler, pinky undertones (you can tell by looking at your iris ((color part of the eye, and if there's a golden or warm ring around your pupil, you are more warm toned. Also look at your inner wrist and if you can see your veins then a greener vein is a sign of warmer toned skin and bluer veins are for ppl cooler toned.))

Im so confused what undertone i have. I have very visible blue veins and a golden ring around my iris. What would an olive undertone be? Warm or cool? Im over Half italian and my mom has such beautiful olive skin maybe i got her undertone with my dads red skin
@dragonprincess8205 your skintone will best be flattered by neutral to warm tones...but you're lucky bc you have yellow and red pigmentation in your skin so it honestly depends on what look you're going for. I'd honestly have to see you to say for sure but if your skin handles sun well, doesn't burn horribly, I'd lean more towards warmer tones but neutral warm.... "NW" in makeup talk

It still irks me how she did the L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara so dirty because it's genuinely such a good product too (my pfp is falsies tbc, but still it's my go to for an every day kind of look). Also I was so confused by the ELF power grip reviews until I realized it was 99% sponsorships because it's the stickiest shit ever and ruined my base. Especially on top of a serum or moisturizer. It would pill up like if you used way too much of the OG Benefit Porefessional, but wouldn't blur or blend. Oh, and she did this thing recently (might have already deleted by now) like "No one's paying me to say shit stfu" like.. be so forreal right now
