The second she thought it was okay to lie about having a “family owned brand” is the second she failed. Starting off your brand and relationship with your fans on a major lie will never do anything but bring you bad news with your brand.
This! Like people wouldn't have been mad at her for not having a family brand, and just being the face of a brand. It was the lie that was unnecessary, like most of the decisions she made. It's ashame, because she had the potential to do better.

Just a bunch of investors buying any company out not putting money in their products and cutting back on whatever they can to save a buck. Used to work for Olivier Soaps, exact same thing. @puddingtatr still never addressed it. She never will. She will lie about anything going on. She closed the other brands that she actually did own because of not wanting to be an icky salesperson, yet all she's done since is links, Amazon and other oh my God you guyyysssss products.
That one really grossed me out. She ruined another person's business to position her own, laughed about it and now goes 'jk I'm shutting it down.' talk about toxic. She has no integrity so I guess I shouldn't be surprised but that one is just so icky. She destroyed someone else's multi-year business who didn't have nearly as much investment capital for a flash in the pan whim she had.

I just can’t tell if she’s delusional, completely out of touch with all business she gets into, or just a habitual liar
It feels like she actually believes in her lies, which is very normal when a person tells lies a lot. That may seem as delusional behavior to others. It just sad, and very wrong, but i cannot imagine what has driven her to lie so much. In my own experience i have seen people who have childhood traumas and that has made them a patological liars for years, or even for life, because those people never felt like they were enough to others or even themselves.
It would kill her to be honest for once. From claiming she had a family-owned business, the Koze situation, and so much more. I don’t think she’ll make an announcement because then she’d probably have to own up to the fact that Forma owned her cosmetics line and that their bankruptcy has everything to do with the uncertainty of her line.
@@trustme541 for liking to see the downfall of someone who steals brands and acts like it didn’t happen? And pushes blame onto others when her launches fail?
@bexxa4837 Don't bother explaining yourself, she has fans with very little brain function. I don't mind seeing a habitual liar fall either. She lies for sport, makes me sick.
I was down bad in the beauty sphere. I could never like her and it feels like I've been vindicated by listening to my gut. If I got a problem. I'm fine with that.

This may seem like a horrible thing to say, but I’ve never been so excited for a brand’s downfall than I am now knowing that Jaclyn’s karma is getting handed back to her.
Honestly, she should’ve worked harder to make her makeup brand a success instead of sticking with the social media influencer gimmick. But I guess she didn’t want to work hard or just didn’t understand things and gave up on it. 🤷♀️ Foolish of her but what else can we expect from the woman who launched her line with hairy lipsticks?

Also in her announcement she'd have to be careful of what she says cause she couldnt give a reason for her brand shutting down without lying or admitting it wasnt her choice. sorry for going full conspiracy under your comment
@@haley6201 No problem! Indeed. You should also consider a potential NDA. That is a Non Disclosure Agreement which she might have had to sign. But at the same time, she lied to her fans time and time again by never being honest about who owns her brand but just kept repeating she’s the “CEO” the “owner” and that it was a “family owned brand” when in reality, it wasn’t
JH found out the hard way. It’s easier to just shill for other companies for a fixed price and no financial risk, than having to juggle the logistics of a real and functional going concern, and risk your own money. Pity she can’t be the tiniest bit honest about it
No, the new owners get to make that decision . She has no authority when it comes to business decisions . She maybe able to say I no longer want to license my name To you ( i'm sure that in the contract though there are clauses that dictate if and when and how that can be done) ,

It’s because she’d rather make a few TikTok videos about sponsored products and rake in the cash instead of working hard on a whole brand 😅 Let’s not forget, a lot of her money was made off of other people’s successes
You mean like the people who rake in views to gossip about her? They're not working... not really... just posting tid bits about another person and getting all the views for it........
At this point, she should just give up. She failed so many times without signs of improving at all. She also hasn't taken any accountability for what she did. No on would want to support someone like that.
She was not the owner, to begin with. On the other hand, she proved once again and again she's into money not "passions". She closed the other brands once she realized what it actually means, prob thought owning a brand means blasting your name on something, she would sit on her couch in front of the camera all day and the money would just fall from the sky.
What pisses me off is companies who know they’re out of business/bankrupt, yet still have their website up, still acting like they have products to sell and will still take your money, knowing that they are completely defunct!… and of course, there’s no good customer service, they’ve already been laid off!
Guess that’s what happens when you operate from a place of pure greed. She never truly did it for her “passion” of makeup, & that’s why it all hit the fan.
My guess is, that with nobody now doing the work for “her” brand, she is actually out of her depth. If she isn’t the brand owner, she would have to buy the brand and basically learn how to ACTUALLY run a brand from scratch. I’d just being the face of one, already feels like too much work, she’s basically screwed. So yeah. Maybe her girl dream was having a brand, but like all dreams: without work and passion, it just won’t happen.
I think that even if she tried to keep her cosmetic line going, she would have done exactly what she's always done; patterns of behavior suggest she would keep fumbling the bag because she can't handle having responsibilities. She wants others to do the work while she stays the face and that will never change
I never watched her but watching all of this come up makes me so mad. The fact that she was given an the opportunity to have her brand in ulta stores and having the large platform she has to he successful but put minimal to no effort blows my mind. There are so many amazing small cosmetic companies who would do anything to be in ulta stores and honestly deserve it much more than she did. Small cosmetic companies put so much love into their products, and there is so much thought that goes behind their brand, but they go unnoticed because of influencer brands like this. I bought one of her highlighters when they were on sale awhile ago at ulta and it's probably one of my favorites, I wish she just would have put in the thought and effort into her makeup brand since that's what she wants to be remembered by instead of trying to create new brands to profit. Also the fact that she has loyal supporters to her brand but will do the bare minimum to help with getting orders dispatched or announcing the sales/closure ect so they can stock up.
Why is the tone of this video as if SHE is making this choice? She doesn’t own the brand. She gets to choose nothing. It’s not in her hands and it never really was. The owners of the brand are choosing this. For her to announce/admit that, would be for her to acknowledge that she isn’t actually the CEO she reaalllllklt wants people to believe she is.
i watch you everyday when you post, i check your account very frequently. I get so upset when i don’t see a new video . but i know you’ll pull thru babe
TY FOR THIS! I noticed that in the video and wondered if I missed a memo! I’m betting that she would have to buy JHC to keep it rolling now that she’s sober, she probably doesn’t want to have another issue since the lipsticks ruined her life for a while. With all the mess of lies she created she’s just keeping her peace and letting go. Sad.
My thing is, if this was really her "dream", then why shut it down instead of working towards rebranding or making it better? She literally contradicts herself.
Considering all the terrible and horrible things she's done to her fans and to other businesses, I'm just not surprised. I wanted to see her grow and get better, but what she was doing was just disappointing and NOT it
Dude I have the JH duo ( blush and bronzer ) and I tried it for the first time yesterday. I hated it. Not pigmented. Throwing it away esppo after watching this video lolllll
Her stuff has been at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for a while now. I actually picked up one of her eyeshadow pallets really at a discounted price at least a month ago if not more.
i think it's a good thing. now she has two options: either truly work on relaunching her cosmetics brand which is where her "passion" is, or she just sticks with social media and realize that it's not her thing to own a brand.
It is not her company. She fabricated ownership. It is unlikely she financially benefits and is therefore not interested in making any announcements. Sadly, it appears she is slow to learn lessons from her many failures .
She has no say if it stays or closes. She doesn’t own it. I’m not understanding why people are surprised. She probably didn’t announce it because she doesn’t know because the owners don’t have to tell her or include her.
Sorry but i feel absolutely no sympathy for her. Everything that is happening is a result of her own actions and lack of accountability. This woman literally tried to ruin another woman's small business and has STILL yet to issue any form of direct apology, she lied and continues to lie about her owning JC, she refuses to disclose affiliate links and sponsorships appropriately and instead gets on video and JOKES about it (it was in one of her recent collab videos), steals designs from other small businesses and lies about it - i could go on but this is already long. She is a manipulative influencer that only cares about money, and i firmly believe that the only reason she's closing everything is because she's losing money on it. Despicable behavior honestly, i don't wish harm or anything bad on her but this is all a result of her own bad choices and absolutely no one should feel sorry for her.
WELL idc but I am so mad about Praline lip liner. Chestnut Tea by Laura Mercia was discontinued and I found Praline later on and had become my FAVORITE lip liner. Now… that’s gonna go bye bye too. Help me

Wayne Goss did a video a short while back detailing how hard it was to start a brand. Very enlightening and maybe this is what happened to her.
It never was her brand. I'm sure because she was such a brown nose or to Morphy that lead forma to approaching her with this opportunity
could you make a video about the lauren the mortician lawsuit?
Dude I have the JH duo ( blush and bronzer ) and I tried it for the first time yesterday. I hated it. Not pigmented. Throwing it away esppo after watching this video lolllll
Shady makeup launches, shady company beginnings, shady company closures
I'm so shook. Sucks everyone got duped by her for so long
Can't wait for the deals at TJ maxx! Just bought some selfless by hyram there yesterday lmaooo
Her stuff has been at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for a while now. I actually picked up one of her eyeshadow pallets really at a discounted price at least a month ago if not more.
if she dont own the brand and is just the face of it then maybe she can't legally says that she is closing a brand that she don't own ?
Not surprised. I'm glad her brand is over
It kind of sucks too… I have picked up her makeup at Tj maxx and it really works well! Great quality and packaging…
It’s not her brand to make those decisions it’s someone else’s. She’s just the face so she doesn’t have any decisions. She can’t make those.
Worst bussiness woman ever 😅
i think it's a good thing. now she has two options: either truly work on relaunching her cosmetics brand which is where her "passion" is, or she just sticks with social media and realize that it's not her thing to own a brand.
I keep seeing her products at TJ Maxx 😳
she’s so damn lazy she literally had so many amazing opportunities that so many businesses wish for and she did nothing with these opportunities
Is that why I found her makeup at Marshall’s last month??? I Literally got that same setting powder that’s on her site at Marshalls.
It is not her company. She fabricated ownership. It is unlikely she financially benefits and is therefore not interested in making any announcements. Sadly, it appears she is slow to learn lessons from her many failures .
Of course she's closing her makeup brand, she's not making money on it!!! Its about money... No one wants to buy from a LIAR!!!!
It isn't her brand at all. She has no ownership in it she has no decision if it stays open or closes. She licensed her name to Forma
Her stuff is always showing up at the tj Maxx I work at ;-; didn't know who she was
She has no say if it stays or closes.
Oop I hope the Ulta girl doesn't get fired for saying that 😭 CVS would be like that 😂
Her legacy will be fuzzy lipsticks 💋
WELL idc but I am so mad about Praline lip liner. Chestnut Tea by Laura Mercia was discontinued and I found Praline later on and had become my FAVORITE lip liner. Now… that’s gonna go bye bye too. Help me
i saw a bunch of her makeup at tj maxx the other day, it surprised me ngl
Hey girl, nothing to do with the video- but I know I and many others love your voice, even if its altered by a program (not saying it is, just that it doesnt matter if it is :) its very soft and soothing :)) You should start a podcast talking about anything you like/your interests!! Thanks for keeping us up to date with all the drama and news ♥
Ugh. I just wanted the chance to buy another blush palette. Oh well!
It was never her brand. She was nothing but a spoke person for her name.
"things didn't go as planned" aka I didn't manage to con people into thinking I was just a victim of events after ripping away the name of another creator's brand and trademarking it
Like you said she doesn't own her makeup brand. She has no say over if it stays open or not.
Why are we shocked by her anymore? Still surprised she has fans.
Her highlighter slaps though I do admit
Maybe i’m totally wrong, but i feel like she doesn’t tell about this, because she hasn’t told that she is not the brand owner. I think she wasn’t sure until now, but if she acts as if she is the owner, she cannot be unsure when she will tell people, because there will be so much questions (even tho she may still not answer them). I can imagine it can be embarrasing too.
Oh she knows she isn't the owner. This was all in a contract I don't like Jacqueline, but she isn't that dumb - at least I hope she's not. She would've had lawyers to review the contracts and explain everything to her.
@@umassigkap i didn’t mean she doesn’t know! Ocf she knows, but there are many fans who doesn’t. I meant that, because she has lied of the ownership for so long, so now that the brand will be closing, she has to ”say the right words” if she wants to maintain people’s belief of her being the owner, even tho she isn’t. There are still many who believe that bs.. Because of her patological lying she is now in troublesome situation and those lies can be revealed easily. I hope the lies will come out, but she has a habit of running away of her issues.😵💫
It was nit her brand and probably not her decision
She lied to people so many times. No wonder people won't trust her anymore. It affects all her brands. Makayla Guerrero will be next in a few years.
First this was never her brand and Mikayla doesn't have any brands.
I don’t mind trying her products out of curiosity but I don’t trust buying, I see emails like I haven’t received it yet, some items are missing, blah blah...
I just want to know why she lies about everything!
"I don't wanna be known as the koze girl" lol that's almost laughable xD
