They brought Khan in to prep the company for sale (or merge in this case). He did the thing they needed him to do, he can cash out & move on to his next business venture
Nick Khan's shares have been registered for sale since September.
Precisely. The more important thing is when his contract is up. Khan works as a fixer. He comes in to companies for a few years, makes a bunch of drastic changes, then leaves. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him leaving once the contract is up and most of his control going to the TKO board.
In business, there are always managers, executives, and other high-up folk who specialize in one particular aspect rather than in overall long-term management of a company. From store managers who are assigned to underperforming stores to whip them into shape and then reassigned somewhere else, to executives like Nick Khan who are brought in to, in this case, get the company into shape to be sold or merged and then move on. He was never meant to be at the top of WWE for long. He's done the job he was paid to do and now he's moving on.
So you could say they taking it all.
Solo: 😐
We adore Corbin thanks to the French wrestling CZcamsr Sturry who asked the french crowd in Paris last year to cheer for him because he doesn’t get the respect he deserves ! ;)
I'm really happy for Kiana James but I was a little disappointed in how the crowd didn't react more. Granted she may not be someone the casual main roster crowd are as familiar with but I also think the way JBL announced it was underwhelming. Like he should've said "from NXT, Kiana James" but he just rather abruptly said her name with no fanfare. Either way I'm excited to see how she does, she's great.
Most wwe fans don't pay too much attention to NXT stuff and honestly, developmental guys should be kept off tv completely to allow for more creative/intriguing debuts.
@greaterthanharrowk1679 yep....true...i watch wwe...aew....roh...tna...mlw...gcw... and others...i think nxt sticks
@@greaterthanharrowk1679sucks*
They don’t know her…(yet) and clearly neither did JBL😂😂… she’ll put her reps in to get known on the main roster and she’ll be fine.
The more I think about it, the more it's clear that this type of draft doesn't make much sense. The 08 type draft where the match winners brand gets a random pick makes a lot more sense.
Makes me curious if Nick is prepping to be replaced by Steph, HHH, Dana White, or Ari Emanuel as he was only really brought in to cut costs and prep the company for sale.
The draft is always pointless. Nothing changes.
Everyone involved in something have remained on the brand they were originally on. One thing perhaps better 20 odd yesrs ago as teams split up and stuff changed. I know we got raw draft to go but I still don't expect too much to change
It’s because everyone wants to work with their friends, family & spouses (sometimes all three😂) and wwe try to honour it as best as possible. That’s why most drafts seem uneventful.
@@fjtrill so yeah. Exactly what I said. Nothing changes....
I’m sorry but I’ve never understood why WWE does a draft, It makes no sense.
Vince McMahon and Nick Khan to Global Force Wrestling confirmed
I was really looking forward to the upcoming earnings call, but with the dividend rumours and now Nick Khan listing his stock I am worried. History has always told me to be wary when insiders make large sales 😟
Jacob Fatu debuts at Backlash and helps the Bloodline win
Wait why would Nick Kahn be selling?!
You sell in order to make money
A report came out that he was helping vince in the s3x scandal stuff, I'm sure hes looking to sell and disappear
@@jeremykops I'm not shocked, tbh. He seems to have done more bad than good from what I can tell.
It was reported when Khan joined the company, he was there to prep the company for a juicy sale. He did his thing, wiped the grime off wwe and facilitated the merger with UFC. He can cash out and move on to his next business that wants to sell
@gemodorgon Yeah I honestly was shocked it had taken as long as it did for that information to come out, I know HHH really cares for him, but we need this mess to be over and in the rear view so everyone can just focus on the product
Seeing Tama Tonga get one of those weird airbrushed portraits for match graphics is weird. Why’s it always look so weird, uncanny valley stuff
Thanks 🎉
Something is definitely up selling this much stock isn't normal especially with a new company
Imagine if Mickie James or Michelle McCool never left WWE... and being able to say that they've held the WWE Women's, WWE Divas, RAW & Smackdown Women's, World Women's, WWE Women's Undisputed, WWE Women's Tag Team & possibly NXT Women's Championships 🤯
There should be another draft rule where you're not eligible if you only been on a brand for less than 6 months.
They are making new company soon
Thanks
Backlash, Naomi WWE Women's Champion & Bianca Belair/Jade Cargill WWE Women's Tag Team Champions
That WWE draft sucked. Nothing changed at all. It would be more interesting if they just said they would draft from NXT / free agents and trade performers. Hyping it up like anyone could be on either show but everyone stays the same is so boring.
Except Naomi will be moving to Raw, now Jey is there and Jimmy is gon be healed up.
Speaking from France, (I'm just one man but..) we generally don't care about Corbin that much..
The sale is to bring triple h and steph own the wwe part of TKO.
I had to skip the misinformation about Nick Khan
I wouldn't mind seeing Baron Corbin Vs. Logan Paul for the US Title at some point
Wrong. Vince is selling the rest of his stock. Nick Khan has them open for sale when he wants to sell them.
You don't think Corbin being in the "who cares" social media group instead of on TV is a bad sign?
I don’t think it’s a “who cares” type of thing anymore, plenty of people nowadays just watch the clips on CZcams to keep up with weekly shows, rather than deal with cable. So I think him being drafted on a digital exclusive is more of a play to encourage people to watch the CZcams clips. But only time will tell if they actually do something with him, but I don’t think it’s a bad sign or anything.
he's the epitome of who cares talent so it does fit
@@richborn6700 I’d disagree, but that’s fine.
What is Nick Khan up to?
The draft was ass.
Just a comment, the French doesn't love Baron, it was a 'joke' (a little cruel) by a youtuber that got way too far ...
Meltzer reported that Vince has actually sold all of his shares
Nah he listed them back in September, not actually sold them yet.
He did it recently apparently but I got tinnitus hearing about anything Meltzer said
Bianca and Jade getting split up in the draft then winning the tag belts could be a way to retire them and give them mid-card titles.
They need to keep them together cause cargill can only do short matches
Solo will have recruited a new member reveal themselves at Backlash. That will help them win.
Well Nick was bought on only to sell the company. So it makes sense.
🕵️♀️
night one the WWE draft was Underwhelming great seeing torrie wilson on smackdown that was awesome to see she's basically the queen of smackdown I'm just glad that champions aren't drafted that they're being protected that's something that vince mcmahon would've never done he'd give us a stupid belt swap BS glad that didn't happen hopefully night two on monday is better it's hilarious that WWE promoted cm punk to show up on smackdown but he showed up after the show isn't that false advertising?
If he was advertised to be on smack down then maybe but if he was just there then no
@@Deltrottersvangood point it just doesn't make sense that WWE promoted cm punk for both nights of the draft he shows up on smackdown but after the show went off the air.
@@benespinosa6725 probably just there for the live audience, not the actual show itself
@@Deltrottersvanyou're probably right hopefully punk appears on raw on night two of the draft and not in front of the crowd after raw goes off air like on smackdown last night maybe who knows.
Buy low/Sell High, kids. Basic 8th Grade economics class. Not exactly newsworthy... unless you're Meltzer.
Hopefully he stays he’s been a big part of WWE on the business side and unfortunately they probably won’t find someone better
Steph is coming back and Nick khan is gonna go find some other company to turn around lol
Why is Nick selling
Who would be the ultimate winner if ol Ted Turner bought out Vinnie Mac. Lmao WCW would ultimately win in the end lmmfao. Welcome to wrasslin yall.
No. One went bankrupt and other sold for billions.
He probably doesn't even remember who Vince is with his current mental and health condition.
They will maybe try to open or buy new wrestling company😅
Wait, so nick khan is selling his shares aswell?
Oh, and first comment with something other than first!
Awful
@@Deltrottersvan thanks 😊
@@heelzod6544 glad we agree
@@heelzod6544 I'm glad we agree
Cody better be ok
So how much tko stocks are on offer exactly? Is that theoretically possible that Tony could buy himself into WWE?
Watch Nick Khan leave
Vince and Nick Khan are planning to buy AEW, mark my words.
So we are are going to ignoring the allegations then?
They are just that, allegations, not facts. Not saying I think the man is innocent, but, things haven't exactly been proven yet either. Either way, Vince can rot in hell.
Good, there's no chance for them to let HHH make things good, then FUCK IT UP with shit decisions. Again. Multiple times.
Nick Kahn knows something. Is that why TK felt like he could be so blunt? Don’t get pissy at me please I’m not on a team I just care about NJPW’s health.
Nick's stock has been listed since September of last year. He only joined the WWE to prep it for sale. Now that the sale is done, he will move on to something else. He never intended to be on staff long term.
@@alexubel I have no problem believing that at all but the optics are pretty shite you’d have to admit
@@_Pauper_...He was integral in investigating and ousting Vince McMahon? Why is everyone forgetting this?
@@anoldsmellyunusedaccountI wouldn't be surprised if he goes over to aew to help out tony khan since they are brothers
@@annec2923 The Dudleys look more alike than they do.
I would love to see the Diva's belt return. I hate how homogeneous the women's belts look to the men's championships.
The insanity that'd happen if TK bought them would be glorious. And I find it hilarious how people don't understand how cable ratings work. 6th on cable behind only NBA coverage and only 1 was ESPN the others were all WBD owned TNT. Warmer bros doesn't care when raitings dip since majority viewership was watching a channel they own. And that's before they count DVR numbers.
Cody crybabies wishing death on the company that he created (i genuinely don't understand) but suck it up its not going anywhere any time soon. And anyone who compares AEW to WCW 2000 has never watched a second of WCW in 2000
Let's talk after Dean Ambrose wins WWE championship at WM42 night 2 mainevent. Awful Edgelord Weirdos ain't surviving beyond 2025, uce!
Cody not no 1 draw?
No because champions are protected
@@robdurfee6861 not gonna lie I hate that Idea
@@TyMarshall007 - I don't; especially after all of the champions just _swapping_ belts when they changed shows because the champion of the equivalent title isn't there anymore. Champions becoming champions without actually winning... ugh.

When Roman returns he should bring the big dog theme
Terrible
No...just no
Legit think michelle mccool could do a legacy run with the title tbh. She is always on point in her ring work in rumbles etc. She can go. I was never a fan but shouldve been
She was clear cut above the majority of the women’s roster during the diva era. Pretty decent wrestler overall and has honestly only gotten better.
😂😂😂she's old asf
It's disgusting that JBL was brought back by the WWE. He willfully injured people. He's homophobic and xenophobic. The WWE is a tall, frosty glass of "the more things change, the more they stay the same."
🤣🤣🤣
Wwe as a whole is homophobic that’s nothing new
you bored of reddit already?
Roman Reigns is like Stone Cold Steve Austin in Smackdown Shut Your Mouth
WWE needs to do away with the draft gimmick. 90% pf the picks see Raw or Smackdown pick someone they already have and champs are exempt. Roman pulls himself from the draft.....what is the point of this mess any more.
Honestly Nick didn't look happy at Wrestlemania. Just once I'd loved to hear you all say Naomi correctly instead of Nyomi.
Vince McMahon is preparing to acquire AAA AEW AJPW CMLL MLW NJPW NOAH NWA ROH and TNA
He will buy them all and consolidate them back into the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) as his father intended 😂
Further proof that wrestling is dead!
Trejos tacos are the most over priced and overrated tacos in LA!
I still believe Vince McMahon is innocent until proven guilty I don’t think grant is telling the truth I can see Vince starting his own wrestling company in the future
😂😂😂😂😂
Need that money to protect their behinds!
Boring
Only a matter of time tko gets rid of the old guard Paul Levesque and bring in their own peoples to call the shots. Every corporate board did it and does it.
Lol corporate wwe
Paul’s creative direction has increased the company’s value exponentially. It would make zero business sense to get rid of him.
Paul ain't going anywhere. Wouldn't make sense.
@THEpopelonergan you really think some rich guy or his sons/ nephews who paid millions or billions to get stake in a corporation really cares?
Ceos/stockholders do as they please, feel rubbed the wrong way you get back at him some/any way. These are the wealthy and powerful if they feel like or just want their own to be rhe gm/coach/shotcaller they'll fire the current head.
Corporate Business
@@SexyUndisputed2All only time will tell.
@@SexyUndisputed2All this is the most inane, uninformed, irrational analysis. For an ENTERTAINMENT company, the quality of the ENTERTAINMENT product is paramount. Paul has made changes that audiences have been incredibly effusive about. As a result ticket sales are WAAAAY up; they’ve signed an incredibly lucrative rights deal with Netflix; revenue is growing across the board. Why would they (meaning Ari Emmanuel etc.) purposely torpedo their own investment, dipshit?
Also, what do you mean “his sons / nephews”? Do you actually know who they sold the company to?
