Trish (specifically heel Trish) has been one of my GOATs since I was a kid. That cage match deserves to be on this list. SO good

Gable vs Gunther was a rare case of a count-out win genuinely making the match better. In the context of the storyline, it was such a brilliant move as it allowed to show cracks in the champion's armour and giving a midcard act some strong bgragging rights, making him look like a legit contender in the future, while still protecting the champion due to not being a pin or submission.

Sami & KO vs The Judgment Day from Payback was also awesome. The US title chamber match was fun too.
I know the ending was infuriating to a lot of people at the time, but Cody vs Roman WM39 should be on this list imo.

Sami and KO vs the Usos had to be my favorite match from 2023. I know that in terms of in-ring work IC triple threat and Charlotte vs Rhea was better, But This match was the perfect example of sometimes you don’t need to have the best in ring match. This had great storyline build-up, great moments and great finish, while being good in ring match. I will also say that Sami vs Roman was fantastic, even if we knew that Roman would win.
Glad to see Becky vs. Trish on here. That match ruled. Also, I was there live for NXT No Mercy and Dragonuv/Hayes was freaking fantastic. One of the best matches I've ever seen live.

The bloodline storyline is truly one of the best ever. So many great moments, storytelling and matches.
I didn't really enjoy the storyline
when Sami left but it really picked up once Rock turned and joined Bloodline.
The top 3 could all be interchangable. You've got the best women's match in WWE history, the best tag match in WWE history, and the best Triple Threat in WWE history. While personally I prefer Ripley vs Charlotte, I can not seriously argue with someone else picking either of the other two. Wrestlemania 39 really could have been the best ever... barring Roman retaining.

people still don't get the reason brock turning on cody was simple previous year he was the main event attraction alongside reigns but in 2023 cody took his position and brock slipped to midcard that is why he took out that frustration on cody

The Cody vs Brock feud gets too much hate. Everyone always complains about Brock's motivation not being spelled out to us, but I think Brock shaking Cody's hand after he beat him at Summerslam tells us everything we needed to know. At this point, Brock was no longer able to challenge Roman for the title, and at Wrestlemania 39 we had just seen Cody come closer than anyone to beating Roman. Brock begining the feud with Cody can be seen as Brock testing Cody to see if he is truly worthy to beat Roman and replace Brock as Roman's rival. After Cody beats Brock, Brock shakes Cody's hand and acknowledged him, thereby passing the torch to him. And as we all know, Cody would eventually go on to be the one to dethrone Roman and finish his story. People get so mad that Brock's motivation wasn't spoon-fed to us, but if you read between the lines, its actually a very good story and made for a great middle chapter between the 2 most recent Wrestlemanias.
Brock,s hand shake was not plan so wwe did not do the feud cause of that they just wanted to keep cody,s momentum and Brock was the best option but with no logical explanation offer and that took a lot from the feud cause no real story back it up for example look at the drew punk feud one an planed ddt at the rumble started the feud and give him leginemensy but Brock and cody and don't buy and that is just my opinion
@@Dm_hunk whether the handshake was planned or not, it still added to the story of their feud, even if it was only retroactively.
@@rjgoodman4056 I would like to agree but they try to offer explanation Brock being upset cause cody close WrestleMania where brock open the show and that was a joke and the hand shake was Brock telling cody he ern his respect but did not make sense why they feuded but the porpes was elevating Cody to be even a bigger star and it was done well but again am repeating my self no legitimate storyline to back it up
Brock Lesnar turned heel because the rules of the main event of the RAW after WrestleMania was that if anyone does help Cody Rhodes in a rematch that night (tag team match) they wouldn't ever get another title shot for the rest of their career
