- In this clip from www.artistshousemusic.org - Atlanta-based artist manager Delante Murphy sits down with ArtistsHouse Music to talk about life as a manager -- what it takes to be a manager, what a good manager should know, and what a manager needs to be prepared to do on behalf of their clients. He also shares some insights about marketing music and creating buzz both online and through traditional channels, and introduces us to one of his new clients, Redd Stylez as well as some of his favorite cigars.

he correctly predicted a lot of stuff... especially with the Atlanta statement "lil hollywood"
So many jewels. Gotta rewatch several times.

This is the way to enjoy the music life!! Mr Murphy is well rounded, and I hope to work with him soon!! My artist Soufboi is in the shoot next!! Take time to look him up!!

I teach myself in management and bookings at the moment. But is this a advice for all kind of artists like Techno dj? I'm really curious about it. Will be nice of answers. I'm new in the management world. Tnx

Great interview but that last comment about the government needing to take over the internet is the absolute worst idea ever!! I'd rather give music free and creat a need to connection through shows and exclusive content that is physical even if it's digital it can be physically given with a code that can't be share or can expire
And then myspace died.. :/
please take (mindless behavior) away from their manager "walter, vince, kenny,"you see keisha left out of no where but for many serious reason's "red flag" on so many levels check out prod's (entire body language),roc, ray, prince,(look real closer hint# real issues) say no more but i do love them however please save these boys and hopefully they will still have a chance end of story....
