I have quite a bit of prospects. Using their options for me helps me find out what they’re going to turn into. I have a good situation at catcher I have 2 guys I could really trade in a year or so and 2 guys that should be ready to fill in. About the same middle infield. I need some outfield pitching and maybe a bench guy on the corners. Blue Jays are a good team to take you can keep some cornerstones but still have a little input
Using blue Jays and I want a couple guys to be bench guys first 5 games go down into the minors until September 19 and come back if they’re good enough for end of season/post season like Austin Martin
The one you really want to watch out for is spring training it will automatically use a minor league option when you send down the players after trying to set your roster for the beginning of the season. Especially your top prospects that could be problematic
I just started playing the other day, i noticed this when i was moving from spring into regular season. So to clarify, each spring training the 40 man who dont stay in the majors burn an option when regular season starts?

So once their out of options you either have to cut them or trade them or keep them on your roster

How do I go back to my franchise and keep playing the games with actual teams?
The same method - just use the analog stick to switch until you get to the MLB
