They really can do better with their engine that drives all these stats. It's underwhelming. Between the CPU trade logic/ franchise building "logic" and their bizarre progression/regression system and the rating system that continues to perplex logic, it's disappointing year in and year out to have this mist of basically rotten math gunk up an otherswise solid franchise.
It’s crazy how you can trade for Adley and Tatis and just about every other star player and pitchers like Strider.
All on the same team without cheating. Just plugging in a couple mid guys, and then removing one and plugging someone who has less overall until they won’t accept the trade anymore. Then you just give them the minimum package of crap for stars lol
@@ComPTonRiLLO The whole system is subpar. I still play 21 because, what's the difference? I like how they juiced up the scouting but the franchises still make terrible decisions like accept doodoo trades. It takes self control to not burn the CPU logic but it'd be a lot more enjoyable if the logic was at least competent.
@@lewislovelord8977 just move down the trade frequency sliders. I’m really adamant about having teams keep their prospects and building through free agency. So I usually move it down 2 tiers away from zero so teams still can trade at the deadline for vets. But yeah I can’t deal with seeing Bobby Witt Jr or Adley traded to dodgers or rays for randoms because their team isn’t making the post season.
Before mlb the show 22, I hadn't played since the show 12 and was most disappointed to see that not much was added to franchise at all. They really need to look at what nba 2k23 has done with my nba. its the most depth franchise mode in any sports game.
