- Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift! To be completely honest, we weren't expecting on making this video but we heard such excitement about the updated version of stage 1 so we decided to get our reactions on video. Compared to the old tune, the B9 S4 shifts faster, launches harder, has way more crackles and most importantly the rev limiter is gone! Even though this is just an update on stage 1 it feels completely different! Highly recommend for anybody wanting to flash their car! We hope you enjoy!

I know this is an old video, but this was just Stage 1 and High Flow Downpipe to get the pops? Sounds amazing.
Hi, just wanted to know does 034 or IE provides more aggressive pops and crackles? I have APR stage 1 now but I’m not satisfied wit the crackles cuz they don’t offer pops & bangs. Does anyone have an idea of this?
Do you need to do both versions or could i just do the second one

Don't need any hardware upgrades for stage 1, only required for stage 2.
Do you need downpipe for stage 1 crackle tune?

Yo man, love the video! Sounds sick. I’m apr stage 1 right now , no hardware mods. Can i switch right over to 034 and get the crackle tune without any hardware mods at first ?
Yep, should be completely fine. Won't be as many burbles because of the stock dp but they'll be there!

I am seriously looking to get this? I looked into the 034 motorsports website and unable to find which one is the exact one that you are referring to in this video? Can i have the link, please. Is everything else stock here on some mods there as well. I hear you mentioned something about the downpipes?

Would a burble tune kill the life of ur turbo ? Or make it go bad faster ? And who is the tune by ?
I don't think it would do either. A tune in general puts more strain on the turbo but I wouldn't worry about it. Tune by 034 Motorsport
How the heck are you getting the pops in park? My valves seem to close since in park it’s in dynamic but not “S”
Valves are open regardless if it's in Park or Drive. Shift to S by knocking the shifter back once (don't push in the button like when you shift to PRND)
Does burble tune hurt your turbo or engine and also does it void warranty?

Yep, still need the FMIC. Have a track day coming up and wanted to do that with stage 1 and then onto stage 2!

So I'm curious - don't you honestly feel like they went a little overkill on the overruns? I'm stage 2 and have not performed the update yet. Seems a little bit over the top from what I'm hearing in this video.
Easy to fix by setting individual to all dynamic and just comfort on exhaust for driving around!

It's a welcomed change for me. It's definitely what version 1 was missing and 034 told me the burbles were coming, which had me excited. With that said you can always stay with version 1 for the time being.
People on the internet whined like 5 year olds when the overuns were tuned out . I can't really say I'm shocked they overcompensated. This would be super boy racer on a modified exhaust I think.
@@pd7439 I'm glad it's not just me that you think that it's overcompensating a bit. I'm going to call them and make sure that it's simple to go back and forth between version 1 and 2 before I try this out. If this video was the only thing I had to go on, I would be a bit concerned. I like driving in Dynamic mode with regularly and this seems like you could just be a bit excessive. Split the difference and I think it would be great

He has an 034 Catted Downpipe, which definitely helps with the sound. It sounds pretty aggressive on a fully stock exhaust too though
