May Our Father YAHUAH ELOHAYNU YAHUAH EHAD (FATHER SON HOLY SPIRIT) continue TO shape you, blood fire, and use you for the building of his kingdom. Great dialogue, seems like the muslim brother is seeking truth, may The light of Messiah shine upon him and remove his blindness to see the truth. May it be so to all who seek for truth in humility and sincerity in the Name YAHSUA HA Mashiach . The Gospel is the only way to Salvation for Mankind. @@generaljg4373 So how does that make the evil that Mohammed and his allah approve of go away?
      - Islam teaches that child marriage, which implies child rape is approved of by both Mohammed and his allah, even though this is evil and disgusting (Surah 65:4).
      - Islam teaches that wife beating is approved of by Mohammed and his allah even though this is evil and disgustung (Surah 4:34)
      - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves. This is rape and adultery which is evil, yet Mohammed and his allah approved of this. (Surah 33:50)
      - Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe. (Surah 2:223). This allows a husband to rape his wife which is evil and disgusting.
      - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country. (Surah 9:29). Fighting people just because the reject Islam is evil and disgusting yet this is demanded by Mohammed and his allah.
      - Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. (Surah 2:216). So Mohammed and his allah prescribe that their followers must fight even if they dislike fighting. Now that is evil to the core.

    From my understanding, the "royal We" comes from the concept of the Divine Right of Kings (or Queens, as the case may be). It was the monarch's belief that they were, before birth, chose by God to rule absolutely, and thus were not subject to any earthly authority (such as parliament or the people in general). The "royal We" was (allegedly) first used by Henry II, and by using it, he was making a direct connection between himself and God, suggesting that he and God were acting in concert with each other. So, even the "royal We" is being used as a plurality.

      @ajkusmus334 Pƙed rokem +1

      @@michielvdvlies3315 I assume you live in a constitutional monarchy, one with a parliament or other legislative body. The "royal we", or pluralis majestatis, dates back to the late 12th century, and meant “God and I,” invoking the divine right of kings. After monarchs lost their absolute power with the rise of parliaments and documents such as the Magna Carta, it has since come to be understood that a monarch using the royal we is speaking for the state.

      @@michielvdvlies3315 Exactly. They have to do a lot of semantic acrobatics in order to maintain their singular, only-one-god claim. The "royal we" has always been used to indicate a plurality no matter how you slice it, and since the trinity is a bona fide "we", not a "royal we", it's a non-issue in Christianity. Just one more mess they have to (try to) clean up.

    Amongst all the Muslims, I've most respect for those Quranists, not only because they reject all the horrible Hadith, what allows them to be more open-minded for a rational debate, but also stick to their claim and at least trying to prove their Quran to be actually a self-sufficient/complete holy book, like we do in case of the Bible, but their form of Islam is doomed in its core, because over 50% of the religion, including all information about their founder, historical data, and almost the whole practical side of Islam are based on secondary sources like the Hadith, what makes the Quran an insufficient/incomplete holy book in practice, and so their form of Islam lacks the foundations for even competing with the Shia's and Sunni's.

    • @redx11x
      @redx11x Pƙed 2 lety

      Why would the Quran contain everything. It will be hundred volumes. The quran tells us to follow Muhammed ( hadith) On many many occasions.
      When a Muslim prays, he follows the way that Muhammed prayed. When he does pilgrimage he does as Muhammed showed, etc etc.
      Muhammed is not merely a postman who has come to give you the message, but he is sent to "live" the message so you can learn.
      All prophets came to teach the message and be the living embodyment of the message. They were not postmen.
      Otherwise God would have left the Quran on a mountain for any men to pick up.
      This is what Christians don't have, they have no deep connection to the Messiah in his day to day life.
      More importantly, you said the hadith is secondary evidence. Mutiwattir hadith is the same as the Quran in terms of transmission.
      What you lack in christianity is the actual unchanged textual words of the messiah and any accurate oral tradition going back to the messiah.
      Islam has both the oral tradition and textual.

    He touched on something very interesting, the concept of time possibly being different in the beginning as it is now, maybe old earth and young earth creationists are both correct and it's our lack of understanding of time that's the rub. Maybe time just worked differently, obviously DNA was alot more complex in the beginning and our DNA now is dwindled. If so, something like macro evolution becomes more plausible and micro evolution would be happening fast. But the law of thermo dynamics says that things lose energy and heat over time. What if time is also affected by thermo dynamics? I'm not a scientist so I might be crazy.

That makes these women sex slaves. Now women forced to have sex with the people who captured them would generally not be willing sex-partners. That makes Mohammed a man who raped "your" daughter and your mother during the time of Mohammed. So are you saying that God will not forgive Mohammed for raping the women he captured in battle? And if God does not forgive Mohammed for raping sisters and mothers that means that Mohammed will not get into heaven. After all he did not accept Jesus as his saviour and changed the way he lived. concerning the creation story in genesis , it's both literal and not literal: the order of events is accurate and matches science. now, each days of creation represent cycles of creations not literal days . for the order of events in genesis :
    1) science know the first thing to have been created among the living things is vegetation. vegetation was there before animals (on water or land) science knows this: in genesis vegetation is created first by God as well genesis 1:11-13 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning-the third day.
    2) science knows that animals living in the water came before animals living on the land genesis states that life first emerged out of the water as well
    genesis 1:20-23 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning-the fifth day.
    3) science knows that animals living on land appeared after animals living in the sea , same thing in genesis:
    genesis 1:24-26 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
    4) science knows human beings are the last one to appear . obviously genesis states the same thing;
    genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
    27 So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.
    All of thoses days represent cycles of creation and they are in the right order science confirm it.
    now the days of creation in genesis refer to cycles of creation not literal days;

      @@johnzuma4688 If this sentence is taken to be related with the preceding sentence, it will mean that it is not permissible for any Muslim to take in marriage a woman who gives herself to him, without paying her the dower; and if it is taken to be related with the whole preceding passage, it will imply that the concession to marry more than four wives is only reserved for the Prophet (peace be upon him), not for the other Muslims. This verse also shows that certain commandments are specifically meant for the Prophet (peace be upon him) to follow and are not applicable to the other Muslims. A study of the Quran and Sunnah reveals several such commandments. For example, the Tahajjud prayer was obligatory for the Prophet (peace be upon him) but is voluntary for the Ummah. It is unlawful for him and his family to receive charities though it is not so for others. The inheritance left by him cannot be divided; as for the inheritance left by others relevant commandments have been given in Surah An-Nisa. Keeping of more than four wives was made lawful for him though he was not enjoined to do equal treatment with them. He was permitted to marry a woman who gave herself to him without any dower, and after his death his wives were forbidden for the Ummah. None of these privileges could be enjoyed by any other Muslim. Another special thing that the commentators have mentioned in this regard is that it was forbidden for the Prophet (peace be upon him) to marry a woman from among the people of the Book though it is lawful for the Muslims to do so.
      This is the reason why Allah made the Prophet (peace be upon him) an exception to the general rule. “That there should be no difficulty (restraint) upon you.” does not mean that he was, God forbid, a very lustful person, and therefore, he was permitted to marry several wives so that he might not feel any hindrance due to the restriction to four wives. This meaning will be understood only by the person who, blinded by prejudice, forgets that the Prophet (peace be upon him) at the age of 25 married a lady who was 40 years old, and lived a happy, contented married life with her for full 25 years. Then, when she died, he marred another old lady Saudah, who remained his only wife for the next four years. Now, no sensible and honest person can imagine that when he became over fifty-three he was suddenly filled with lust and needed to have more and more wives. In fact, in order to understand the meaning of “no restraint”, one should, on the one hand, keep in view the great task whose responsibility Allah had placed on the Prophet (peace be upon him), and on the other hand, understand the conditions and circumstances under which he had been appointed to accomplish the great task. Anyone who understands these two things with an unbiased mind, will certainly realize why it was necessary to grant him freedom in respect of the wives and what hindrance was there for him in the restriction to four wives.
      The task entrusted to the Prophet (peace be upon him) was that he should mold and chisel by all-round education and training an uncouth, uncultured nation which was not uncivilized only from the Islamic point of view but from a general viewpoint as well, into a highly civilized, refined and virtuous nation. For this purpose an unbiased mind will certainly realize why it was necessary to grant him freedom in respect of the wives and what hindrance was there for him in the restriction to four wives. For this purpose it was not enough only to train men but the training of the women was also equally necessary. However, the principles of social life and civilization which he had been appointed to teach forbade free mixing of the sexes together, and it was not possible for him to impart direct training to the womenfolk without violating this rule. Therefore, for imparting education to the women the only alternative left for him was that he should marry several women of different ages and mental capabilities and should prepare them by education and training to become his helpers, and then employ them to give religious instructions to the young, middle-aged and old women of the city and desert and teach them the new principles of morality and civilization. Moreover, the Prophet (peace be upon him) had also been appointed to abolish the system of life of the pre-Islamic days of ignorance and replace it with the Islamic system of life practically. For the accomplishment of this task a conflict was inevitable with those who upheld the system of ignorance, and this conflict was being encountered in a country where the tribal system of life was prevalent with all its peculiar customs and traditions. Under these conditions, besides other devices, it was also necessary that the Prophet (peace be upon him) should marry in different families and clans in order to cement many ties of friendship and put an end to enmities. Thus, the selection of the ladies whom he married was to some extent determined by this object besides their personal qualities.
      By taking Aishah and Hafsah as wives he further strengthened and deepened the relations with Abu Bakr and Umar. Umm Salamah was the daughter of the family to which Abu Jahl and Khalid bin Walid belonged, and Umm Habibah was the daughter of Abu Sufyan. These marriages neutralized the enmity of these families to a large extent; so much so that after Umm Habibah’s marriage Abu Sufyan never confronted the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the battlefield. Safiyyah, Juwairiah and Raihanah belonged to Jewish families. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) married them after setting them free, the hostile Jewish activities against him subsided. For according to the Arab traditions when the daughter of a clan or tribe was married to a person, he was regarded as the son-in-law of not only the girl’s family but of the entire tribe, and it was disgraceful to fight the son-in-law.
      Practical reformation of the society and abolition of its customs of ignorance was also included among the duties of his office. Therefore, he had to undertake one marriage for this purpose also, as has been related in detail in this Surah Ahzab itself.
      For these reasons it was essential that there should be no restriction for the Prophet in respect of marriage so that in view of the requirements of the great mission entrusted to him he could marry as many women as he wanted.
      This also brings out the error of the view of those people who think that polygamy is permissible only under special personal requirements and apart from these there can be no other object for which it may be permissible. Evidently, the reason for the Prophet (peace be upon him) to marry more wives than one was not that the wife was sick, or barren, or that he had no male child, or that there was the question of the bringing up of some orphans. Without these restrictions, he married all his wives either in view of the educational requirements, or for the reformation of society, or for political and social objectives. The question is, when Allah Himself has not kept polygamy restricted to a few particular needs, which are being mentioned these days and the Messenger of Allah took several wives for many purposes other than these, how is another person entitled to propose some restrictions in the law and then claim that he is imposing these in accordance with the Shariah? As a matter of fact, the root cause for the imposition of these restrictions is the Western concept that polygamy is an evil in itself. That very concept has given rise to the idea that this unlawful thing can become lawful only in case of extreme circumstances. Now, however hard one may try to label this imported concept with Islam artificially, it is entirely alien to the Quran and Sunnah and the whole Muslim literature.

    If Allah can't die or set that as the standard for death, what justifies him in creating sin, suffering and death, then condemn us for creating us that way?

    That Muslim is not a good muslims. The spirit of gentleness is not from muslims; when a muslim is gentle like this, you can tell he has started asking himself a lot of questions about islam and he is not getting answers, and worse, the answers he gets are false.

      Jesus said he is the only way to the Father, no one can go to the Father except through him. That is very exclusive. Either we believe Jesus is the way or the truth or not. We can't be fence seaters as the word us so clear that narrow is the road that lead to life and a few find it

      @@generaljg4373 He came to die for us. He freely gave his life. You have clearly never read the Bible. That is literally the reason he came. It was prophesied over and over in the old testament. His name means YHWH saves. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Without Christ you are dead in your sin and are spiritual dead which means separation from God forever.
