This should of been a set timed debate. This man left islam which suggests he has some interest in truth. Leaving islam has left him sceptical of religion. A timed debate would made him hear Bob's points. Who knows Bob's seeds may of well produced fruit.

So what hope, then, is there for our salvation? Well, frankly, no hope resides within us. None whatsoever. Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead, let alone try to be righteous before God.
This man doesn’t realise it but he’s saying that we’re on a level playing field with the beasts of the earth, one of the first things in the Book that is written is how God gave man dominion over them.

If we assume that Jesus was never crucified then it means that the crucifixion created a much greater impact and created more converts than islamic isa and allah. So why then does the ko-ooran say that the followers of Jesus would be the uppermost until the day of judgment? Majority of Jesus's followers believed in the crucifixion.

Bob's level of patience is beyond me. He demonstrated to people how to talk & reason with a brainless denier. Bob or the agnoctic may believe in God or not but they have to agree that an objective historical source says someone was a pagan or jew or christian or whatever. An objective historical account says the early Christians belueved they saw Jesus risen from the dead. Whether or not anyone believes in God or Jesus nobody can deny that the early Christians believed it and actually witnessed something that led to them believing.
The ONLY WAY to say this is not historically true is to say a conspiracy got together centuries later and decided to make it all up and make it look like there were even older prophesies ppinting to jesus to the degree that when they buried people in 200AD they got blank papyrus fron 250BC which they had secretly conspired for 500 years to preserve wrote faje predictions on them and snuck in and hid them in various graves in qumran and elsewhere with the intent that their conspiracy would be interpreted as historical fact in the 1950s??? This "hoax /myth" is even less believable than the ressurection!

The point is historicalbsources say OTHER PEOPLE IN HISTORY AT THE TIME OF CHRIST saw "miraculous" things which fitted in with a thousand years of prophesy and led to them becoming Christians.
