What a blessing Paul is. I loved the end where Paul added mulch with care. It gave me such peace and was a wonderful way to start my day!!
Love ur garden ideas..What find of work do u n ur husband do?
@@angelaescoffery7728this is their full time jobs, Aaron used to work for a cable company & Laura worked at her parents garden center
I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing! Another gardener that appreciated beauty! Well done, Paul - thank you for letting us see just a little bit of the behind the scenes touches that happens in Laura Land. :)
@@angelaescoffery7728 they make these CZcams videos for work.
@@kerryjean2223 Great job thanks for the answer..Love video learn alot.Keep up the good work.
Just wanted to pop in and say thank you for always being the bright spot in a day, no drama, no negativity, just fellowship and gardens. It is very much appreciated.
Oh yes, I agree wholeheartedly. It's like free therapy every day!!!
Growing up, my mom used to listen to a local gardening show on the radio. She always said she’d have loved to see the host’s home garden because she was sure it had to be gorgeous. When I watch your videos, I often wish she were still alive because I know she’d have loved these as much (or more) than I do. ❤
Everything is coming along so nicely. A Laura Edition Auger! Seeing the Allium in the background, Benjamin help with the planting, Russel checking in to say Hello, the chicken coop is so neat and Paul mulching the flowers so carefully. Spending the morning with you is a joy and you are truly a blessing. Thank you. ❤
This is a treat today Laura. First Russell now Paul. He is so gentle with the plants and did a fantastic job with the mulch. Love the hat. He should have his line of them.
I noticed how gentle he was with the plants too...great job
Sure would be nice to have a “Paul” !
Every female gardener needs a Paul!!!
So fun to see all the *look-back* segments from prior years!! Well done on the editing!! Love seeing all the spring color!!!
I have also loved seeing all the flashbacks this year!
Great work on their part, a novice like me wouldn't know where to start
Visited one of my favorite local garden centers yesterday. They have an area in the gift shop set up with refreshments for guests complete with a television. I was browsing the houseplants and heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Laura on the screen! Only fitting you should have a namesake auger 😊 You and Aaron have inspired so many people with your enthusiasm, your energy and your beautiful garden aesthetic. Always kind, always smiling, and always brimming with possibility. Thank you!
I love those pink geraniums you grew from seed. Gorgeous!
Does anyone have a recommended source for geranium seeds next year? I'd like to give it a try.
@@gardeninggrandma5247 I bought mine from a etsy dealer.
@@gardeninggrandma5247I believe Laura got her seeds from Swallowtail Seeds
The Laura Auger, what an honor. I owe all my flowerbeds to you Laura.
here, here.
Same! 🌸
And all the containers of living plants on my apartment patio! 🎉
Me too! I got compliments from neighbors for my Laura inspired pots. Have to check out the Laura auger.
She taught me underplanting. What a difference it has made. I sound just like her saying "it's so pretty.". Cant thank her enough
I love how Paul so gingerly applied mulch to your garden. You can tell he cares about the plants. You are blessed to have him for sure. Your gardens turned out so pretty. The Laura Augur. I should name my garden the Laura garden because you have taught me so much.
One of my favorite things you’ve been doing is flash backs to a certain garden as you did in this video. I have been watching for all those years and love your style. Perfection in the bullet proof plant this year. Pass my compliments on to Paul for his part of the ground cover placement. It was like
Watching an artist! He places the mulch in the perfect location each time and doesn’t waste a bit. He gets on his hands and knees to gives it a little swish. It’s an art!
The precision of placement with the mulch at the end is everything...smarter not harder!! Paul is such a blessing.
That was so nice, seeing Paul lovingly placing mulch around the begonias. Glad he's becoming more comfortable in front of the camera.
And, I really love your choice of plants for the chicken coop container...soft and soothing. 💜😊💜
Just me or is The Chicken Coop the BEST part of your amazing gardens? It’s my fave for sure and I couldn’t agree more that this year you have knocked out of the park! Your plant choices are a VIBE for that space! Can’t wait to see how it progresses this season. (Please update us regularly!)
Agreed! This is my favorite area (except for the raised bed garden) among all their beautiful garden beds. It has such a cozy comfortable cottage vibe! Have been watching since the townhouse years and just adore the evolution of this property! 💚🌸
My fav also!
Yes! I love more casual cottage style plantings.
Love the chicken coop garden s and pots!! My favs!!!
🌸Good morning Laura, cutie Benjamin and all GA friends. What a gorgeous day to enjoy watching Laura and her sweet assistant plant beautiful flowers. So fun to look back at prior display choices. Such a beautiful peaceful respite for all of us to see. Thank you from my heart, Laura. Enjoy a beautiful day Friends, no matter how big or small you plant. Wow, “a Laura auger”!!! 👏🏻🦋🌼🌸💚☕️
What a lovely comment Dee!
Can we just appreciate Paul for his hard work? Always on it!
👏👏
Laura, you are constantly teaching us something new, but Paul needs to know he taught me a 'clean hack' in putting down mulch. It looks like a dust devil when I put down mulch but Paul did it with such ease and grace! Excellent idea to lay it in with a wide mouth shovel like he did. Thanks Paul. Love the look of the chicken coop! The girls will love hanging out in the run and admiring your handy work. :)
Brilliant idea to make the auger lightweight! Grass is looking so nice!
I think it's quite funny how Benjamin always wipes his hands on his shirt after touching dirt 😂
I noticed that the other day! 😂
So did I.
And Samantha Grace wants to dive in head first. LOL
@@ritasicari7518 Right??!! 🤣
Finally! Dahlias in the flowerbeds! 🎉 Also, the container by the chicken coop is far and away my favorite container you’ve ever planted. It’s really nice to see something different like that.
Your plant choices always look great, but I am especially liking the soft combinations this year.
Those blue and yellow daisies mixed with the blue moon punch container is so so pretty. Love it.
Laura I have to say any design you do is always a statement. Just gorgeous. You know, looking back on your videos years ago visiting other formal gardens and now look at you, you have a much better garden than any other garden you visited and filmed. Just spectacular Laura. Whoever does your editing on your videos well I say to them well done. Very entertaining to watch garden answer videos with Laura and the family.
It’s Ken!! (& Aaron)
Good evening everyone♥️🇵🇭
It was helpful to watch Paul mulch the Begonias with compost at the end. 🌸🌸🌸
🌸🌸🌸 It’s always a tricky thing to mulch around newly planted annuals. Lovely!
Oh Laura i absolutely love everything you share on this channel. But I have to say the pot you planted by the chicken coop is incredibly gorgeous. It looks magical those little blue daisies make the arrangement . Great job as always and congratulations on having an auger named after you that makes things easier for you to share your passion with us. 😎💓💕💞
The spectacular fields of luxuriant grass are the unifier of this expansive space. Love love the grass. Good job Aaron!
So enjoy it when you show past years' plantings. And hooray for Paul! I need a Paul in my life.
A Auger called Laura WOW CONGRATULATIONS.🎉🎊. Did Laura say she staked some plants when she first planted them, bravo. Everything is going to look fantastic. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. Appreciated.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I really enjoyed seeing the end with the begonias "put to bed" and everything looking so pretty! A nice touch!
The care in which Paul added compost to the beds at the end of this video was so pleasing to watch. Kudos to his care with plants. What a major benefit to have him in your garden journey! 😊
Oh my god as soon as I saw the "blue" flowers for the chicken coop, I was in love!!! Those daisies look so precious and sweet oh myyyyy
Laura & Aaron
I like how you teach us to be patient and grow with our gardens; To pull what doesn’t bring us Joy or struggles to shine, and to experiment with new plants and discover what actually works. You show hope and lessons in your beautiful garden.🌸 Thank you ☺️
This almost sounds like a prayer!
Congratulations Laura for having 2 augers named after you! What an honor!!!❤❤❤❤
Literally, a gentle man. Does Paul know how many fans he's has? Not to embarrass him and risk him going back into hiding! You all make such a great team. Great job today. So pretty. 😊
It’s so wonderful that you always take such great care around the statue of Persephone. Being a vegetation goddess as well as of spring and nature, it’s really fitting that she has such pride of place in your garden.
We should all be so lucky to have a Paul (and Bethany) in our lives.... everything is looking soooo beautiful!!
I think the flowerbeds around your chicken coop are my favourite out of all your gardens. It just has Whimsey and charm
Watching Paul mulch at the end was a nice ending, you all do such a great job
I get extremely offended by sneaky weeds also lol. Great video and really fun seeing how you coordinate your areas!
How cool to have an auger named after you! You’ve actually changed the landscaping industry lol.
I keep seeing that cute little short fence blocking half of your driveway. I wonder if it would look better around the chicken coop?
I’m totally loving the chicken coop landscaping… so pretty!
Proven Winners should have a Laura supertunia!
Russell makes everything more fun 🐱🐱
I just love that you showed your garden from years 2016-2023!! You should do that often for other areas. Love watching the evolution of space.
I remember when this area was tilled and watching that video made me realize i "can do that"! Thank you Laura for taking the time to teach. I am so grateful.
I really like that blue daisy. (I am a fan of really true blue flowers - like Aaron was talking about in last Sunday’s recap). And the “silver” pink geraniums. 🥰. It might be my favorite geraniums that I’ve ever seen. Bravo! I’m interested in all the perennials that bloom well, don’t ask for much, and behave themselves. I think I’m gonna need more pin cushion flowers. 💚💚💚🙏
I have always loved seeing pale pink and pale purples together…there’s just something so lovely about it! I share your excitement about how beautiful the chicken coop is going to be this year! 💗💜
And many thanks to Paul for teaching us the best way to mulch a bed like that! I love the care and attention to detail he exhibits every single time!
Hi Laura, Aaron and GA Team,
I have to say that I admire the editing on all videos, but this video appears to be extra special. There is something soothing to me by just listening to the music and watching short stinks of monotonous garden chores, but rewarding when they are complete and you can tell the difference. Seeing this garden come together one drill, one seed, one drop of water at a time is so inspiring. My favourite is always the harvest, which, to me, is the land’s gratitude for all your love, sweat and tears you’ve devoted to it. Thank you team for making this a special place to visit.
Loved the flashbacks to see the evolution of flower choices in your formal beds and the changes in the chicken coop garden!
For someone who stumbled onto your channel during the pandemic, I have to say how thankful I am for your channel. You and your family have brought me so much joy and given so much inspiration. I am so excited that you have your own augers with power planters!!! I will be adding one to my collection. Congratulations! ❤️
OMG I think the chicken coop large pot combo is my favorite ever!!! Can't wait to see it evolve as it grows! Awesome choice!
Chickens and Russel all in the same video. I’m in love! 😻🐓🥰
Love the pink surrounding the boxwoods, may be the prettiest ever. By the chicken coop the pink and lavender looks so pretty together. Really looking forward to a tour of these areas later. So fantastic to have them create a tool to make planting easier. This fall when you start bulb planting you will whip thru that project on no time.
Love the container by the door of the chicken coop! Such beautiful colors one of my favorites!!
Might be one of my favorite videos, I’ve watched you long enough Laura to know these colors and arrangement of plants is going to be charming and fairy-like🧚🏻
Absolutely loved going down memory lane, you have come a long way young lady. I’m quite proud of you and the life you’ve created, it’s just magical.🪴
Beautiful! And I like the brief look at how the gardens have changed from year to year. Great job!
You can tell that Paul takes pride in what he does. Great job Paul!
Cannot believe this garden has only been around for 7 yrs. Lots of planning and work. Beautiful
Laura is the 'everything' in gardening. I use my Laura auger to 'Laurafy' my garden bed by packing in tons of new plants!
Love the cottage vibe planting around the chicken coop and Paul placing the mulch/compost around the begonias at the end. He's got that down to art form!
I love the tropical vibe this year. I've been watching for about a year, and you've inspired me to add to my landscape. I'm just beginning, but I am loving it so far! So thank you from a girl in Southeast Georgia, zone 9b.
Laura, I think the soft pink, purple and blue combination you put in by the coop is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely one of the best combos that I’ve ever seen!! Just beautiful!
The chicken coop has been one of my favorite areas in your garden since day one. I remember the videos of tearing out and filling in the root cellar and thinking, hmmm I don't know. Just stunning.
The chicken coop garden is stunning and oh so charming. Wow. Thank you Paul for mulching. 😀
You're the only person I know that has a beautiful chicken coup area. You've inspired me.
Of course, I love all your videos… but, I’ve enjoyed the “nostalgia” of the planting you’ve done around your house 💚
This was a super lovely video...
Wish I could have been there to help plant around the chicken coop. That's one of my favorite garden spaces at your home. 🐥
I love seeing Paul do the mulch! So peaceful and tranquil.
It beautiful, as usual! I really like the pincushion flowers! I planted some for the first time this year and I'm so pleased. Gives a little whispy. It was a nice ending seeing Paul mulching. Very nice and neat. He seems to be a jewel!
If anyone can get an auger named after themselves it should be Laura ! You are the hardest worker and such an inspiration! ❤😂
That was such a treat! I loved the ending--very satisfying to see the complete project.
Beautiful video. Love the end where the bed is being mulched. A lovely peaceful way to end a video. Would love to see that more.
Wow Paul is a rock star!!! Love that he allows you to film his work ❤❤❤ thank you Paul we all love you and your sister.
Great video! Watching the mulching being done and the leaf blower cleaning up was so very satisfying to watch...the icing on the cake! Thanks again for such a wonderful & inspirational video. Have a wonderful weekend! Kathy (Ontario, Canada) 🌺🌺🌸🌸🌿🌿🌼🌼🌻🌻🐔🐔
I took a screenshot of the cat standing on the big pot , it is so wonderful!
I love surefire rose begonias! Your right, they never fail & put on quite a show! The combination around the chicken coup is going to be so beautiful😊 Thanks Laura, your such an inspiration. Now I’m gonna go “dig” in the dirt👏
During the segment of planting in front of the chicken coop, I closed my eyes and listened to the relaxing music. I was imagining that you were planting flowers at my house. Come on over!
The burden is going to look so beautiful with all those flowers and the basket containers💜💜💜👍😊🌸🌸🌺🌿🌹🌹
Wow! The chicken coop gardens are SO sweet - total cottage charm! I especially love the big pot with the blue daisies. I'm eager to see how that plant grows throughout the season.
Good morning💐!!!
Love the cottage feel of your chicken coop. And your new video segments showing the spaces throughout the years. 💚
Live seeing the flashback of previous years in the same space! Fun to have variety from year to year. I need to get a drill + auger to help with digging in our hard clay soil.
That planter looks like a sweet wedding bouquet. Beautiful planting in the beds too.
Always love the cottagey feel of the chicken coop area 😊
We have a mobile chicken coop that we built to move our chickens around, but if we had a stationary one we'd defiantly be planting it up like you are! -Cara
You can do a mobile garden to keep things attractive for your girls!! 😂😂Just a suggestion.
My favorite pink geraniums with the blue sky. Favorite for 2023
It was nice to see Paul in action. I enjoyed seeing the "before and after" of mulching. I loved seeing the chickens too. :)
I have so loved watching the evolution of your chicken coop/garden.. well, the evolution of everything, but there is just something about that darned coop that I love!!!
Oh thank you so much for the auger "Laura edition" ! The reason I passed on the auger is because of the weight. Now I am going to be a proud owner of my very own Laura edition auger and my garden thanks you too.
I LOVE the color combination around the chicken Coup!!! So sweet and soft! Charming!!
Send Paul to my house!! I’m officially in the fan club after watching his marvelous meticulous mulching 😃
I believe the chicken coop is my favor of all the years. The containers are gorgeous!
LOVE ❤ when you plant annuals in containers and garden beds!!! And ❤ RUSSELL ❤ 🐈
Those pink geraniums are gorgeous! Absolutely love the plantings around the chicken coup. Beautiful! Love the Laura auger! You go girl!
How sweet and soft the color combination is around the chicken coop! I plant more autumnal tones in my front yard and more pinks with purples in the backyard. I did just buy some of the Blue Skies and can't wait to put them in a tree form planter my husband made for me. The soft pink geraniums are so perfect with them!♡
Love this flower combination around the chicken coop. Would be nice to all have ourselves a “Paul”. 😊
Thank you for participating Paul, that was satisfying to watch. chef kiss.. perfect ending.
18:21 that spooked me 😅 I thought something was going to jump out at you 😅 I am totally with you! That chicken coup bed is my favorite of all the years! The color and texture combo is so magical and classy ❤
The chicken coop annuals are so sweet ☺️ I absolutely love it!
I love the ‘Laura’ auger idea
You, Aaron and your crew have taught us so much and are always so respectful!
I thought I would never find a better PW annual than Colorblaze Golden Dreams Coleus...But I PURPOSEFULLY go out to my garden just to be amazed by these stunning Begonias!!!🥰
