Specialities of Prophet Muhammad SAW
• Seerah means to traverse.
• The Prophet SAW is the channel of Allah SWT mercy.
• The Qur’an is the greatest miracle and it is the only living miracle.
• The Prophet SAW is praised more than any human who has ever existed.
• Prophet SAW will intercede on the behalf of all mankind on Qiyamah.
• The Prophet SAW has several names. But only two are mentioned in Quran:
- Muhammad: Mentioned explicitly in Qur’an 4 times.
- Ahmad: Only ever mentioned by Isa AS in the Qur’an.
• Musa AS predicted our Prophet SAWs name of Muhammad and Isa AS predicted the name of Ahmad.
• Prophet SAW is the only prophet ever to be sent to all of mankind and the only one ever sent to the jinn.
• The Prophet SAW will have the highest level of Jannah that is exclusive to him.
Fun Trivia fact: Qiyamah itself is a type of punishment since it is 50,000 years long.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.

I'm 25 episodes deep in this series, and there's not really a different way to give a review on CZcams... so into the Jehim that is the CZcams Comments Setion:
This is the best English language series on the Sira you will find online for free. Shaykh al-doktur Qadhi, in addition to being an engaging orator, does an amazing job at presenting different viewpoints of scholarship (and making clear when he is presenting his own) on the Sira and the Ahadith that are used as supporting evidence. It doesn't matter if you are just curious about other religions, or are studying Islam at the graduate level, you will surely find something beneficial in this series, regardless of whether you are Muslim or not.
Also, he sometimes goes into a bit of a khutbah about being Muslim in America which I find inspiring and progressive, even though I am not a Muslim, and he (by his own admission) is not even much of a progressive!

Shortest summary I can give you about it .... I have never been to Medina .... And whenever I think about Medina .... My eyes tear up and I am ready to do anything just to see the rawda of rasoolallah sal lal laah Ho alayehi wa sallam... I can honestly say fidaka ummi wa abi ya rasoolallah sal lal laah Ho alayehi wa sallam.... After your seerah I listened to many more seerah's from scholars around the globe .... Can't even count how many ..... Again listened to your seerah... Listened to thousands of lectures after that ,,, literally thousands ,,,,,, had khair in all of them ,,,, but one thing everyone had in common was this,,,,,that my opinion is the right one and every other opinion is second or incorrect,,,, lot of ikhtelaf ,,,, love was scarce ,,,, so finally I got fed up and I am starting to listen to your seerah for the 3rd time to take me 1400 years ago in the past,,,, oh how I would SACRIFICE everything to be born in that time,,,,,, jazakallah khair ya shaykh ,,,, as only Allah can give you the jaza for such an effort,,,, love you shaykh ,,,, wassalam

Yasir Qadhi mentioned that the amount Muslims were 1 billion in the video, now in 2023 there are 2 billion Muslims on the face of the earth as of now which is the double the amount that was mentioned a decade ago in that video

I personally have no words how much the Seerah benefited me. The first episode I watched was the death of the prophet s.a.w LIVE in January 2015 and then I immediately started from the 1st episode.
