Sheikh Yasir Qadhi is an academic preacher and theologian with a wide array of published books, research papers and lectures on Islam and contemporary Muslim issues, most notable and acclaimed, being his series on the life of our beloved prophet (peace be upon him). sheikh Yasir Qadhi has dedicated his life to being a bridge between the peripheries of Islamic faith and open dialogues to better understanding and harmony. Sheikh Dr Yasir Qadhi has done amazing work for the Muslim community and is a cherished brother to the Safis.

In 2022 I returned to Islam 40 years later, the religion I was born in. As a young girl from Bangladesh coming to America I had lost my identity, married non-Muslim. Raised two boys as Bahai’s- 40 yrs old and 30 years old now. By the miracle of Allah He guided me back to Islam at age 60 to understand my purpose and existence in this temporary world.
I discovered Shaikh Yassir Qadir through his Seerah series. Ever since his lectures and khutbahs have been a guiding light for me to be a true Muslim and guide my family to Islam. It’s a jihad. Please pray for me to have the strength and patience. Dr. Yassir Qadir has been an inspiration to say the least in this journey.
Indeed Allah guides those who wish to be on the straight path by gifting us an amazing scholar like Shaikh Yassir Qadir.
May Allah grant him and his family Jannatul Ferdous.

Shaykh Yasir Qadhi really opened my eyes by the grace of Allah and helped me to come out from being extremist and encouraged me to not only blindly follow other shaykhs and hate others rather study all opinions and see the beauty of Islam. His seerah series is what benefited me the most.

Yasir Qadhi's seerah series is what sparked my intense interest in Islam even though i'm a born practicing muslim but i was just going through life doing what was needed but not paying much attention. That seerah series changed my life forever so i will forever say ALHAMDULILLAH that i came across it. May Allah continue to guide Yasir Qadhi and protect him ameen. I have the same experience. I still remember my first Salah after finishing the Seerah. I think it may have been the first time I prayed with a feeling of true gratitude for Islam in my heart.

This shaykh has changed my life. I found him on CZcams as a western Muslim woman born in a Muslim family, didn’t know my dean. I only listen to his lectures. YQ has really helped me with my Deen and understand it in a way that is beautiful and balanced, we needed him as a role model with so much extreme cultures and misunderstandings, he is a genuine breath of fresh air, i fell in love with the Seerah and the Propehet SAW through his series, its amazing the way he walks you through as if you are there, it connects you to Islam and Quran which is essentially our Prophet's life. Found Shaykh a few years ago and found his method very conducive to learning the deen. He may even be attributed to saving me from dunya with his lectures and wisdom, of course stemming from previous shuyukhs n ulama. Subhanallah. Thank you for this token of appreciation for our shaykh.

This podcast hit home for me. It's been a wild ride realizing that my earlier black-and-white view of Islam barely scratched the surface. Fellow Muslims, I urge you to seriously rethink where you are heading hold onto the rope of Allah together and not let labels and categorizations divide us. It's heartbreaking to see all that the Shaykh has had to endure..I could see him getting teary-eyed as he recalled his journey.
Also to all engaged in dividing Muslims in the name of Salafi Dawah or any other approach, I hope we can step back and think deeply about the essence of our deen. Let’s step out of our comfort zones, fear Allah, and unite on the vast common ground that Islam offers us all.

Sheikh Yasir, I discovered your series of the seerah for a couple of years ago, and it made me appreciate my deen and traditions.
Even though I was born a Muslim I didn't have much connection to the deen, and as a non Arabic speaker muslim from Sweden, couldn't relate much to scholars who are not from the west.
May allah bless you, through out your lectures, khutbas you inspire me and I feel like you talking to me directly even though I am not from the US, but I can relate to a lot of what you preach.

I will always defend dr yasir, always have and always will. He is an absolute blessing in this day n age. Alhumdulilah i was blessed to go to all his events in sydney and i was really really excited to meet him and have a selfie with or even just shake his hand but i didnt. Only because I realised when i seen all these people taking selfies with him and giving him all the attention i seen the look on his face, and he was not happy. So i was happy that i didnt put more pressure on him and i was sad that i didnt get to tell him how i feel towards him and how much he's inspired me by the will of allah. But he hasnt escaped me yet, In Sha Allah when we are in jannah i am going to absolutely do his head in with all my stories of how much ive defeneded him on social media. 😅

My heart melts for YQ regarding what some people say about him. Really hurt when he said it hurts his mother very much. No son can bear their mother getting hurt. Alhamdulilah Allah is all knowing and most merciful. We have hope in the compensation of Al Shakoor

I consider Dr. Yasir Qadhi to be one of the foremost mujtahids living today in the Islamic world as he has the necessary secular education and perspective needed to be making ijtehad on a lot of modern issues, not to mention he's immensely qualified with over two dozen ijazah from prominent alims of our time.

Have immensely benefitted from sheikh yasir qadhi, my various questions were answered by his lecture, especially having tolerance for muslims following different fiqh and aqeedah , I always had difficulty accepting that only few Muslims were on right path and rest of the community deal and mudhil as suggested by many preachers.
It is sad and loss for people like me when shiekh left social media , I wish he gets back to youtube and atleast do library chats and lecture series.

This was such an amazing episode MashaAllah, i learned so much and some of my confusions that i unfortunately had due to the rumors in social media got cleared too. Yasir Qadhi has really gone through so much, and he is only a human and he has benefitted so many people including me, so may Allah bless him. I think the best part was the dua of ibn Jawzi on religious fame, subhanAllah that was a whole new perspective for me.

This man Shekh Dr. Yasir Qadhi had changed my understanding about Islam since 2019 when I saw all seera series 100 + seera of khalifa, sohabas .... and othe so many lectures. Alhamdulillah today so many Ethiopian Muslims who understand English language followers of this man.

Guys, having Shayk Yasir on the podcast and interfering him so much is really really not cool, even saying stuff like Allahu Akbar, shifts the listeners hearing focus. Say that within you and InshAllah it will be accepted. A simple rule of the podcast is speaking one by one so that the listener can shift the hearing focus easily.
