Hello! Just a tip that I have found helpful, but a roll of masking tape and wrap your straps to keep them out of the way. Masking tape doesn't leave a residue, yet is strong enough to do the job and it removes easily.

Beautiful bag. I'm going to try and make these for my nieces for Christmas. My question is which size bias tape are you using? I followed your link and I took me to it but there are 3 different sizes. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right one.
Should be about 1/2 inch after it’s all folded

I love this!!!🥰🥰. Will be my next project!I have a small bag im working on now and need help. My machine keeps skipping stitches like its basting when I sew the zipper tape on top of vinyl. Why is it doing this and how to prevent it?? I have a domestic sewing machine by Husqvarna. Any help please😄
Do you have double sided tape under? It looks could be your needle is getting sticky…
What materials are you using?
@@SiahSwag I only used my clips to hold the zipper tape onto the vinyl. When I remove the zipper and try and sew on the vinyl it does just fine. I don't understand what is going on. I even changed the stitch length and the height of the pressor foot.
@@Jaded6911 just vinyl , thread, and a nylon zipper tape not metal
@@shugg881 it sounds like it's not feeding thru and getting caught. Do you have a walking foot? Do you change the stitch length when basting and top stitching? I would forget to do that sometimes.
Instead of using binding can you birth the backpack?
I am sure there is a way…. Just don’t know what that is.
