    You have come a long way...no mention of stapling curves and your stiletto skills are great. Also, I really prefer your tutorials, rather than the lives, I realize that there is so much editing and that it all takes time. I appreciate how much work you do for your tutorials, thank you! And the bag looks great! Thank you !

    Can’t wait to make this bag. See when I do binding I add it to the gussets first. But in this case I’m going to add it to the main body. So that way when I add the side pockets it’ll already be on then just fold it over and stitch it down. It really does help and make it so much easier❤️

    Thank you so much for taking the time to do this tutorial! 💕So excited!!! I am once again motivated to sew bags🎉.Thank you for all the details, and tips, such as zipper direction on side pockets, (I would have completley screwed that up😂) and showing that it's ok to make mistakes, i.e. binding..( I hate binding🤫🤭😂) The bag came out absolutely beautiful and looked professional to me!😃 Once again Great job and thank you!!😀🎉

    This is a nice bag. I enjoy watching you make bags. I’m looking for a pattern that will showcase my lizard patterned faux leather with no cotton on the outside. You said this isn’t for beginners but so far I haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary. I’m pretty new, have only made 6-7 bags so far, none but one of which satisfy me. I like crossbody bags but not small ones and top zipper closures, not recessed zippers. Do you have any ideas for me? I enjoy your introduction a lot, it’s cool. I like that you topstitch all seams so I decided to do the same and it really helps the form of the bag so thanks for that. Gotta go finish watching this bag making.

    Like another video tutorial, I was rather disappointed that you said NOT to attempt it if you're a beginner. That actually motivated my girlfriend (new sewist in general, just zipper pouches thus far, never a handbag nor even an easy totebag) yet she did GREAT. She used material that wasn't super expensive because she did it strictly as a challenge to people telling her not to even try, but she took it slow, one step at a time. If the fabric was prettier, I would actually buy her bag. It's that good. I just wanted to post a comment that I think instead of discouraging beginners to not make it at all because you think they might get frustrated or should build their skills on other bags first, perhaps be more supportive and say it's not a beginner pattern but if you still want to try, go for it, maybe use scrap fabric or don't use heavy interfacing for the first attempt, etc. Anything, other than just don't try at all. It's not driving a car or doing something dangerous, it's just sewing. I'm not a fan either of someone telling me I shouldn't try at all. You never know. My first quilt was a pattern people were telling me was too ambitious for a beginner but I made it. Seam ripped a lot, but I wanted that quilt pattern and was determined to make it. And so I did.
    I always enjoy your tutorials, thank you for sharing with us. Supporting each other is super important.

    Hi everyone! Love this page and especially our fearless leader for showing us the way on projects. I’m a visual learner and I appreciate every one of your videos!!!! I do have a question. I asked over on the Country Cow CZcams page but figured asking here wouldn’t hurt: If I’m making the bag without side pockets, which pattern piece is used for the exterior sides? I know piece M says side stabilizer and I don’t see piece E in the list. Do we use E? Thank u!

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  Před 3 lety +1

      Just the side piece, it is the same for exterior or pocket.
