To be real for a sec, it’s utterly depressing how apathetic Sony’s quality control for their store is. Some would say Steam even has better control.
Well atleast Steam let you refund things more readily and are self aware enough to know that most of their stuff is dogwater cash grabs.

I actually like this. Not the game itself, but it reminds me of the old PS2 days where games could be made and mass produced fairly cheaply. So many shit games came out of it, but occasionally there were hidden gems from small indie developers.
You could see your tire tracks on the game map when you're off road. That's a programming trick of placing a camera above the player and putting the display in a small window in the corner somewhere, saves time making a map with things in it including real time display of the player character. I remember learning about it in a intro to programming course in college lol.
Using a second camera for the minimap is a pretty bad noobie game dev mistake. Takes up way to much performance, that's why no proper game does this.

I highly recommend picking Moaid if you plan on speedrunning this game. You have a 20% chance he'll take off his kafiya while being chased by american cops, if he does he gets a speed boost for the next 2 minutes while driving any car as long as it was bought in Saudi Arabia. This game holds a special place in my heart, I remember playing it on my playstation 4 like it was yesterday.

I love how the minimap is just a top-down view of the car and surrounding area.
The most ironic thing to me about something like this on the Playstation store, is all the hoops that actual game devs have to jump through to get patches and updates passed Sony's certification process while something like this retails for 15 pounds.

I played this "game" when it first came out and it was just hilarious how Sony's quality control has mysteriously disappeared.
Pretty much all major gaming storefronts have given up on quality control.
It started with Steam and XboxLive and then moved onto PlayStation and the Eshop.
There isn't any platform free from stuff like "Bad Rats", "Really Scary", "Life of Black Tiger", "Meme Run", and "H3ntai N@zi".
Truly masterpieces that show how high store standards are.

The game got a massive "downgrade" some time ago, before that the ways to customize your car were far more extreme, from the tire size to the tire width and the camber. That was a lot better and more in a "so stupid it's a lot of fun" way than this

Gta 5 will just be Rockstar’s scapegoat for more money, just because they probably don’t have any plans for a gta 6 at all. At this point, gta 5 has been milked for the money for way too long, and it’s gotten stale for me. I used to enjoy watching gta 5 videos, but these days, it’s not the same now
I enjoy seeing the Neebs Gaming crew revisit every now and then but I feel like even they're limited in what they can do these days

These drifting games (unlicensed cars/gas stations/long straight lines) are more popular on mobile. They are trying to capture the feeling of the drifting scene, which was popular in the late 90s and mid-00s. But it shows how well it achieved that :D
The "trash can" in 7:55 is actually a speed trap. Once it hits you with that flash, your finances are ruined for few months.
Ngl wish these guys coded it better it would have been a decent build cos I was eager to see arab coders and games made by them as well.
