I would like to mention that the weather greatly improved for my other domestic Iceland flights. I have 3 more to post and they all have MUCH better weather than this flight had!
RED ORANGE YELLOW GREEN BLUE PURPLE PNKI BROWN BLACK
RED ORANGE YELLOW GREEN BLUE PURPLE WHITE GLEY BLACK BROWN
I love the sound
Awesome! The Classic DASH has gotta be my favourite plane ever!
It's definitely fun to fly on. Unfortunately, this one's window fogged up haha. Thanks for watching!
Awwww man beautiful. Peak of my baggage handlers job was marshalling in the Dash 8 at Campbell River BC YBL
The sun was setting behind the aircraft,,, gorgeous.
And this was the least scenic of my four domestic Iceland flights. Three more videos on the way, so be on the lookout for those soon. Back in my airline days, I never worked/marshaled any Dash 8's but I did the ATR-72. Fun times. Thanks for watching my friend!
What a beautiful views absolutely stunning compilation really enjoy your video thanks again for sharing Merci
Glad you enjoyed it my friend! As always, thanks for watching!
Nice video. One day were in Guam, another day in Iceland ! :-))
Thankfully not back to back though haha. Thanks for watching man!
Wow... those glaciers!!
Back in 1998, I flew from London to Seattle and we went right over the Vatna Glacier. JEEZ!! Even from 35,000 feet, that thing was HUGE!! That's Europe's largest glacier.
And this was the least scenic of my four domestic Iceland flights, so just wait for the others! Thanks for watching my friend!
I got to say it out loud bro that video is so fun to watch!!!!
How fun! Loved this video…thanks for sharing :)
Glad you enjoyed it! This was the least scenic of the four domestic flights I took throughout Iceland, so just wait for the others haha! Thanks for watching my friend!
I enjoyed that, thanks!
Dash 8 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Good morning skylite!
At 100% power turbine speed, these propeller tips move at up to about 562 mph!
اپ کی یہ ویڈیو بہت اچھی اور ہوائی جہاز سے باہر کے منظیر مجھے بہت اچھے لگتے ہیں
Awesome!
Thanks for watching my friend!
this is a nice video. The shorter Dash 8 reminds me of the DHC6 Twin Otter
It is like a Twin Otter on steroids. Thanks for watching my friend!
TF-FXG…a former Mesa bird. Used to be N445YV and wore the “Flintstone” HP livery along with UA’s “Blue Tulip”.
That's cool to know. I actually hand't looked up where this plane had spent its life before Icelandair. I loved United's blue tulip livery, so it's cool that it once wore it. Thanks for watching my friend!
Me recordó a mis vuelos en el Foker F-27...😊👍🇦🇷
Nunca tuve el placer de volar un F27. Gracias por ver.
What? No shoe shot? I'm disappointed. LOL. ----- nice video - flying clear across the country in a Dash 8-200.
Unfortunately, there wasn't much to show because of the bulkhead. That, and flying in Iceland was very.... relaxed. We boarded and they closed the door all within a few minutes. So, there wasn't a ton of time to get the shoe shot haha. As for flying across in the Q200. If you'd like to drive the same distance it'd take you around 7 hours. Thanks for watching!
Where do you work as a job sky productions Im just curious and do you like what you do ?
THIS obviously
That would be running this channel haha. Until December of last year, I was also a full time aircraft rescue firefighter. But I left that job, to run this channel full time. So, I really appreciate everyone taking the time to watch.
@@sla31 That’s very Impressive I really enjoy your content I really look forward to more flights in the future 🔵😁
There's got to be a way to correct for the stroboscopic anomaly when video recording propellers.
Thinking cap: ON
Skylite, im here now
Good morning my friend. I hope you're doing okay today.
Great fly! How was your flight in the video?
It was good. It was a bit disappointing that the window fogged, and then froze up. But, it is what it is! Thanks for watching!
Hey Traveler. Was this flight along the first loop when you flew from Iceland to the U.S. on that inaugural flight, or did you go back up and do this trip cross country? 7 hours by car, No I think I'll fly it thank you very much !!
I did all of my Iceland flying in the same trip. So, this was a couple days before the inaugural PLAY flight. I took three more flights throughout Iceland after this, and this was the least scenic of them all. So, just wait for the others! Thanks for watching my friend!
Why was the propeller looking like it was about to stop
That's due to the frame rate of the camera. The camera is taking 60 frames every second, and the propellers RPM is close to matching that. Basically, the propeller is spinning much faster, but the propeller blades are in roughly the same spot every time the camera takes a frame. It gives the appearance the propeller is moving very slowly, when in reality it's spinning just as fast as usual. Thanks for watching my friend.
Discovery Airways
Baby dash 8
One with a lot of history too. This plane did a lot of flying around the US before Icelandair bought it. Thanks for watching!
Can you do a face reveal?
I did earlier this year. In fact it was a giant deal on one of my thumbnails. That most people seemed to miss haha.
