  • Time to start the new 2024 build. Yep, you guessed it. ANOTHER CORVETTE. We are stoked to start tearing into this thing and incorporate a lot of what we did with the last car, but taking it to the next level. We have a lot of fabrication and prep work before we can get into the real good stuff.
Let us know if you want to see weekly episodes on the build!

I'm sure you can, but i think you need to really put more thought into track day repairs. You got the repairing suspension dialed in. Maybe make the engine swap easier. Practice doing the swap, everything the same, plug and play. Get it as close to an hour as humanly possible.

Why the stock stlye motor mounts? Just a cost thing?

Maybe just simpler for faster motor swaps.

They explained it a bit at 4:10 The stock position being higher than their motor plate will be better for ground clearance and allow room for the front mount trans to be pulled back off the clutch more easily, I imagine with a multi disc clutch you need more room to pull the trans and as this car has a rear mount trans from factory they probably decided to take the small weight distribution hit for clearance and ease of maintenance.

Go turbo...or blower. That stoker motor reving to the rpm you guys are is a ton of piston speed. Maybe less rpm or less stroke with a power adder would hold up better.
Im exited to see what you do with this one!!!
