I'm new to the rc car hobby. I went all out and got the xmaxx 8s for my first car. Is the belt drive fast? Also I haven't seen a video after the steering upgrade. Did it work good?

Have an xmaxx and xrt, and new to the hobby as of 4 months ago. All my stuff is stock but your products look so good. I want to buy a motor mount I am so tired of the pin system. Which mount do I need to buy for the stock xrt motor ? thanks for the video. Also which pinions are you running ?
Thank you for tuning in to the channel! Both those are fun rc trucks and are a blast to modify. I sell this kit that has a belt drive which is what I run in all but one of my xmaxx trucks. I'll leave the link
You can mount the stock motor too my PnwRcMadness HD motor mount and ditch the pin system and gears.

What gearing would your stock xmaxx belt drive kit compare to? If I'm running 18-46 now would it be the same..slower ? Your site says out of stock at the moment but I clicked on to notify me. Thank you!

The gear ratio is 2.5 for the belt setup
So I'm guessing you just loosen the 2 screws holding the motor in place to adjust the mesh right?

will the 25mm motor mount work with the hobbywing 4990 and M1 gears. trying to start with 20/50 and the mount i bought will not go low enough and has no side to side play. leaving a big gap and i would have to use a 22t pinion or bigger and that would just fit @pnwrcmadness
I just bought a mamba monster x 8s combo. Looking for a motor mount will the 30mm motor mount work with it? I saw the smaller 25mm is out of stock I know that one will fit forsure cause it’s the same size as the Og traxxas one
