Started playing Dirt Rally 2 a few days ago and very quickly fell in love with this car. I wish I could find a similar looking body kit and put it on an old school hatchback

It's amazing the austin metro ever got built at all due to what was going on in British leyland at the time, let alone the dragon of an engine that was produced for the group b rally series, the engine was then given a second lease of life with a big turbo in the jaguar xj 220

sadly it didnt made any succes, i dislike it, because it overshadows true legends like toyota celica tct or group b nissan 240rs, that acctually won some rallies in wrc
@@gombka1144 The Celica is the most underrated Group B car ever. Fought side by side with the other big winners.
@@DropkickNation yeah, and only true rally fans remember it, while for some reason the metro is in many gamesand it is overall as popular as quattro or 037 while it was only once on podium in wrc i think
@@gombka1144 the 240 rs never won any wrc events too though, only managed a few podiums in wrc especially in endurance rally

Dirt Rally 2 is a fun game but it's terribly arcade. It's as close as rallying as Fzero is to F1.
When you think that RBR came out like 15 years ago and no one managed to do better in all that time...
RBR is sh*te without the mods.
And even pro rally drivers said Dirt 2 is amazing.

Turn timer off, hold handbrake, reverse when the race starts. In this vid, he approaches the start line, then restarts the race with the timer enabled. It's not a feature its just editing
