So, a lot has changed with the way the sirens are ran here in Huntingburg and Dubois County as a whole. Huntingburg's old sirens appear to still be on a telephone relay system which allowed the old system to sound in attack for ten cycles, or, two minutes. However, it has been adjusted where they now run for four minutes. If you've watched any of my Huntingburg siren videos before, you've probably noticed this and maybe enjoyed the extra one minute 2001 siren ambience. Now it's the exact opposite and I must admit, it sounds pretty awesome. Just skip to around 3:10 to hear one of Huntingburg's STH-10 run attack solo!
Dubois county now tests their sirens at 6PM on the first day of the month instead of at four. Apparently some people were having trouble getting to the siren tests to check them out so they moved it later. Jasper still tests at four, which seems kinda odd since most counties test the same time. Though, I guess I can't complain since I'll now be able to record two sirens in one day.
And...for anyone wondering, the sirens you hear are from the north side of town. The recorder was placed at an abandoned hospital between the two.
Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more. Thanks!

DanTheMan Same here, I find it calming. If you ever look up thunderbolt ambiance and watch the first video, that is even more calming.

Darn. What does the county do with old sirens

+Carlos Aponte They tend to reuse old sirens here, at least that's what they did with their Model 2s, but I'm not really sure what the fate is of the STH-10. If they aren't going to use it for anything, I'll be glad enough to take it lol.
