So here's probably my most visually impressive video of a 2001 complete with a drone shot and that spicy blurry background. If this did attack or fast wail, this test would've been perfect but oh well...
Celestine's 2001-SRN was purchased back in 1999. Shortly after installation they tested every signal to see which was the loudest. Alert obviously won. The siren is part of Dubois County's system and gets tested each first of the month at 6PM. Besides a random failure here and there, it's been pretty reliable.
You can find this siren at the fire station located on a hill on the east side of town. I always thought the placement was both genius and kind of dumb. On one side it's on a hill, but it's also at the edge of town and half of the time the siren is just warning the countryside. I think an omni siren located within town would've worked better. But then again, Federal didn't offer any -DC powered omnis besides the Mod/DSA at that time, but who wants those?
Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more. Thanks!
