For mine, when i press the button sometimes, the car unlocks/locks etc but the remote does not get the green confirmation that the car unlocked. Then the remote plays an error tone for a second.
My remote start will not work anymore but my antenna is not working but the box under the car is flashing red?I tried the valet parking but it didn't work.
is that the 7254v model i have that and mine has been acting up not responding green light only working when i push multiple buttons like f or aux changed the batteries three times and when i got the vehicle the horn dont respond and start neither the system was already in it
It's cool boss. I can show you how to do that if you still need it. It's a simple sequence, that's shown on the installation manual. Let me know if you need it.
I tried it worked but an half an hour later my key started going off and it keep going off after I locked it..my remote start is not working..everytime I try to start it the red function light blinks
My remote (7254V) operated the alarm just fine but I get no confirmation tones and beeps on the remote. It used to be that when this happened I would just unpower the alarm by disconnecting and reconnecting the car battery then the remote would return to normal function. But now that fix does not work anymore.
I can't find any manuals for this key online anywhere and I have the same exact key. I'm having a different problem though, I have one key that works perfect and the other became complete unpaired idk how. It was working and still has enough battery. So how do I re-pair that key

Has anyone noticed that after the 3rd or 4th battery change, some of these 7254v remotes start acting weird til it finally dies? Sometimes it goes on for months before it completely dies. Ever since I started doing real quick battery changes at the first sign of the batteries dying, I haven't had an issue, but it takes several remotes to learn anything and they're expensive. Maybe static discharge is the problem. I just don't know. Anything useful anyone can add is helpful.
When I lock or open mine it’s beeps twice in two different tones and flash’s red for around 4-5 time with a 5 second gap.. does anyone know what this means??? Car still starts and closes as normal it’s just anoying tho as after every open and close it’s does this please help?????

Anybody else getting parasitic drain from This viper, remote starter? The remote starter works just fine when there is battery power but I just bought this used Mitsubishi outlander and this remote starter seems to drain the battery overnight and then it won’t start in the morning. I disconnected the remote starter and it no longer drains the battery. Remote starter was installed back in 2016 by vision electronics (Canada) and I had a look at the fuse box, and it looks very complicated in there!

Check to see if it has a backup battery/siren.. it looks like a siren, but if the backup battery in it goes dead, it’ll drain your car battery quickly
